How to Use Hot Glue Sticks to Create Wax Seals
- Choose a hot heat glue gun. The ideal temperature is to reach 374 F.
- Insert the hot glue and wait for the glue gun to heat up for 1-2 mins. Once it’s ready, dispense the glue onto your envelope.
- Place the seal in the center of the wax, ensuring a firm and even impression.
- Optional: Add in the pressed dried flower before or after the glue is dispensed.
- Allow the glue to cool for 10-15 seconds and then remove the wax stamp.

These are easy to use, and it accepts paint really well! Using other things like glitter or decorative leaves show up well through these. Does what I need them to do!

These glue sticks are perfect for decorative projects. They melt down super clear and smooth, which is exactly what I needed for my pressed flower wax seals and wedding invitation accents. These are nice and clear sticks. Had to get a larger glue gun to sue them, but I like the end result using these sticks.

As the description states - these are the Wax Sticks for a hot glue gun usage. With the gun they work fine enough. Easy to mix with glitter and stuff alike. While these are not recommended for use as a bonding element/glue in itself, this wax is still "stickier" then others that I've used. At times comes out foggy for no apparent reason. Overall - convenient enough to disregard some minor cons.

I was going to make D&D inspiration tokens with these seal sticks, and I had everything prepped to do so when I ran into the biggest issue that blocked me from continuing. I have used glue guns before and I think my glue gun holds average sized glue sticks, but these glue sticks are way bigger than what it can take, almost double the size. I am not good at whittling things down evenly so I don't want to attempt it with these glue stick, but if you have an average size glue gun, don't buy these. I will attempt cutting portions of these off and heating them up under a tea light to see if they work like it, but I want to do some cleaning before that and space management before that.[ TLDR ]---------------------[ ✓ ] Stored Perfectly[ ✓ ] Looks Pretty and Mostly Transparent[ x ] These sticks do not fit in your average glue gun.

These clear wax sticks are too adhesive and don't pour, no matter what temp I set my warmer to. The wax became a sticky mess, ruining my large pouring spoon.

Super cool! I have a fascination with wax seals, I have even ordered 3 custom stamps that I designed. I'm not as much of a purist as others so I love the convenience of glue-gun wax sticks. The clear wax seals are super unique, something that can be used to press flowers or other materials into the seal. Or if you really like a clean look, these also work for the usual wax seal stamping.
