I have mixed feelings on this set of pencil pouches. They're definitely nicer than something you'd get at the dollar store and the current pricing on these place them at not much more than a dollar each so that's definitely a good price for what you're getting. The plastic is decently thick and the colored binding material is nice. The grommets feel well attached and secure; they're also spaced in the proper place to turn well in a binder. Where I have mixed feelings is in the finishing of the materials. The pouches are extremely flat when empty and that's because they are not sewn and then turned right side out like higher quality ones are; they're simply stitched straight across with the raw edges outside. Over time, I think this will likely cause the pouches to fall apart faster than those made the more time-consuming way. Also, the pouch interior extends into the bottom band where the grommets are punched through so that things get pushed down into the spaces between the grommets which made them sit kind of weird in my binders and made retrieving some things hard. I think it'd be better if they were sewn shut above the grommet line so that space was closed off. The pouches also have a strong vinyl smell when you first use them which does dissipate after a few days but if you're sensitive to smells, maybe air them out before use.

I got these for my wife (2nd grade teacher). She uses them to keep track of colored pencils, markers, etc. This allows her to hand them out to student and they can keep track of whatever is in it and not have the bag rip (plastic zip-lock baggies, etc), or just have them lost. These pouches are fairly durable (if they can survive 2nd graders for a school year, they are good), brightly colored and because they are clear, easy to see what is inside. Can't go wrong with these things, they make organizing easier.
