I bought this almost a year ago. The old pump just kept on working after I tapped on it to get it unstuck. Well, it finally started failing again. So in with the new. Seems to be working ok. Only time will tell if it lasts. One problem. The plug from the old pump was too narrow to fit this new one. The connectors were the same size so I just cut it apart into two individual plugs and they went on just fine.

I have had this installed on my washer for a little over a year. It has worked great and was essentially a direct replacement to the one that was on my washer.

Perfect replacement for my 2015-16 hotpoint washer pump that had been intermittently been failing to drain.Easy installation Just had to break the convenient breakaway tab and bolt it in and connect the wire and hoses (it will flood a little even if it's drained all the way.) I didn't even have to separate the terminals like others stated. Also the unit is whisper quiet compared to the original pump in my machine, I think this is a very affordable, well made, and thoughtfully engineered replacement part. And saved me from just going out and purchasing a new machine. Repair over replacement!
