Purchased these for back up lighting for our house, the battery seems to hold a charge for awhile (10-12 hours). My only request is that the lights need to be a little brighter.

Bright, and the battery lasts longer than the incandescent type. The body looks cheap on ALL THE NEWER emergency lights. Not all, but the expensive ones are still incandescent and don't remain illuminated.
