I have a tile countertop that has taken some abide over the years. I came across this item and decided to try and fix some of the chips that occurred from drops and hard hits. I found it very helpful to watch the demo video on the product listing page. I basically followed those steps and ended up with decent results. My tile is kind of an off-white so matching the color was fairly easy. With the included application tools, the product is easy to work with and dries to a smooth, durable semi-gloss finish. I would think with the large variation of colors included that you could get it to match pretty much anything. The product functions as advertised and is well worth the price in my opinion.

We have multi-colored granite countertops in the kitchen which have chipped several times on the edges at places with different hues.I found the coloring very sensitive to the smallest amount of black coloring. I had to fill the edges several times as it was difficult to tell if I had completely built up the fill. Then difficult to match the color on each layer.That said, the compound feels strong and is definitely better that the rough edge of the broken stone.

This kit made it easy to fix some small cracks and chips in my kitchen floor. My tile is light-colored and original to our house (21 years old), and there are some minor blemishes on the kitchen floor that make me crazy. I like a clean floor, and these little chips make it look like there are crumbs on the floor, even right after I mop it. I used this kit, and despite not being a professional, I was able to do a decent color match and cover up some of the chips. I will say - make sure you do something to scuff the surface if you have a matte surface. I did not do a great job of this in our laundry room, and as a result the patch is a little shiny when compared with the tile. It is still way better than the ugly chip on the floor, but just something to keep in mind. I will be using this on my bathroom counter next, as it also needs some work. The filler dries hard and smooth, and should be easy to keep clean. Good product.

I purchased this repair kit hoping to fix a deep chip in our porcelain sink, but unfortunately, the mixture wasn’t opaque enough to fully cover the black showing through—it was a bit too transparent. However, it did work well for smaller chips that still had a white base beneath them.The material itself sets up like a rock, so less is definitely more because you’ll need to sand down any excess to achieve a smooth finish. Having extra sandpaper included in the kit would add significant value.Overall, this product is effective for minor surface repairs but not ideal for deeper chips. If you’re looking to fix small imperfections, it may work for you, but for more significant damage, you might need a different solution.
