The Globe Scientific 513032 microscope slide mailer holds one slide, with or without cover glass. The mailer is made of polypropylene for durability and holds a 25 x 75mm (1 x 3") microscope slide (sold separately) for transport. The box contains 100 mailers. An inner finger groove allows slide removal by touching only the edges, and a tight-fitting snap closure helps protect slides from shock and damage.

I made the mistake of looking at the picture that shows a box that can hold multiple slide and ordered thinking that is what I would get. The title (each box holds only one slide) is correct, NOT The picture.

Although thin, this case appears to have adequate stiffness to safeguard the slide under typical mailing conditions.
