The inner diameter measures approximately ~122 mm, which makes it unclear why this product is marketed as 110 mm. The bottom piece fits another funnel I own that is sold as a 130 mm funnel. I tested it with both 125 mm and 110 mm filter papers, but neither provided a suitable fit. Compounding the issue, the funnel is notably convex, with the center curving upward. It’s unclear whether this is a design feature or a manufacturing defect, but the result is the same: even if the filter paper fit properly, it wouldn’t sit flat enough for effective filtration. Wetting the filter paper doesn’t solve the problem, as it still fails to lay flat. Another reviewer highlighted similar concerns, and in hindsight, I should have taken that into account. Given that I only spent $3 on this item, I’m not bothering with a return. However, if you’re looking for a functional Buchner funnel for actual filtration work, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The surface of the large funnel was warped upward. Therefore, it would not separate properly. All of the water would run to the sides and leave a ring of unfiltered water around the perimeter of the funnel. Horrible!I may be able to save it by using a heat gun to melt and let the surface sag a bit, but why bother.....
