When you purchase Glowshift's 19mm Temperature Sensor Hose Adapter, you’ll also receive (2) hose clamps which secure the line to the adapter. These clamps will firmly tighten to the oil, transmission or coolant hose, ensuring the heater hose temperature sensor adapter has a leak-tight seal. GlowShift makes the process easy with installation instructions and free lifetime tech support to walk you through the process step-by-step.
Quick Install
With a few simple steps GlowShift’s heater hose adapter can be installed along with your oil, transmission or coolant temperature sensor. No specialty tools are required for this installation process.
Cut the Fuel Line
After making sure that the engine is cool, locate a relatively straight section of the oil, transmission or coolant hose measuring 11/16” and make a clean cut through the line.
Install the Adapter
Install the clamps over the two cut ends of the hose and place the temperature sensor hose adapter in between, securing it tightly into place with the clamps.
Install the Sensor
Install the sensor into the adapter, ensuring it is properly tightened. We recommend using Teflon tape on the sensor so that no leaks occur.

It probably works great with a 2 wire sender ground and gauge but no ground wire hook up for just a hole for the sender. Had to use it to finish friends vehicle. Had to remove the wire insulation and wrap it around the body of the sensor since I ran out of time to drill and tap a hole. Who sells a product with out the proper hook up, you company does. Doesn’t even call for a one star. Stupid

I like the part except they paint the threads so to out my thermostat in I had to buy a 1/8 27 tap to cut the threads again and clean all the paint (and a fair amount of aluminum) out. You will want some cutting oil too.One upside to cutting threads with a tapered tap is that so far I don't need tape to seal it up, it's already water tight.

Didn't notice there was no grounding screw. It cost more than the unit price to have a shop drill and tap it for a grounding screw. I should have been more aware before I ordered.

was to small for what i needed it i needed 3/4 inch od and its a 3/4 inch id
