Looks nice installed. Lights are a bit too bright on a few of the colors which makes it difficult to read. Overall a good quality gauge.

Overall it works and is pretty easy to install. I like that it has a plug on the back for the wires so you can run the wires and install it without having the gauge hanging off the wires while trying to get it installed. What I don't like is the colors and display. The colors are too bright and contrast poorly with the white background. The glow from the dial and numbers bleeds through to the backplane and makes everything blur together, particularly at night. It has a 'dim mode' for night driving but is not adjustable, just gets to a preset dim level when you turn on the headlights (if you wire it up to the headlight switch). It does not seem to have a variable dimming feature at all. No matter what color I chose it is just too difficult to read accurately, especially at night.

Wanted a small, easy to read tach for my single cylinder Janus 250 motorcycle. Tried one other, cheaper, that I couldn't read in daylight. This one is perfect with black on white dial. Very easy to read. Easy to install also, went with just 3 wires as I didn't need the features afforded by the additional two wires.Recommended.Revisit in mid-April. Tach has become unreliable; needle swings randomly, no relation to engine speed. Inother words completely unusable. Have contacted seller and will see if he stands behind his claimed oneyear warranty. Will report back.Sent tach back to seller who found it working OK. Reinstalled on my 1 cylinder motorcycle. Worked finefor several weeks, then returned to the random operation. At steady speed, needle floats from 4000 to 8000, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly. Totally unreliable.
