Tried a fan clutch from one of the local auto stores. The aftermarket fan was alway acting like it was on all the time. Very loud an poor fuel economy. Put this one on and it was back to being a quiet fan! Works great and installed well.

Recently did a water pump job on my 2006 LBZ. While in there, I removed and cleaned the cooling stack and replaced my stock fan clutch with this one for the larger trucks. Thoroughly cleaning cooling stack plus this fan clutch = night and day difference in staying cool pulling heavy loads up some of AZ's steep grades.
