Good product for the prices being. Holding up so far.but if u going to have a street car a 4.88 is a insane on the street if u want that stoplight to stoplight action if your car can handle that big of a gear for the most part yes it fits in a 8.5 and but my stock c10 was 28 spline so u have to do some upgrading but all is good with every penny

I just put this set up through its test. Was put in to a demolition derby car. Gear set held up great. No problems here.
