This particular part failed after only a few weeks of being installed. It was the exact part number that my vehicle called for as a replacement. It could have been a fluke as anything that is new can also be faulty.

The throttle body is a must if you are swapping a 6.2l intake on to a 5.3l. I swapped both on to my 5.3l months ago and it has been working flawlessly, I just finally had the truck re tuned for the changes…. And wow what a difference.

Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. I have a 2017 Silverado with a 5.3. I installed the 6.2 (l86) intake manifold and needed the 6.2 throttle body to complete. The throttle body I was recurved was packaged well, a new part and was free of defect. Fitment was perfect. After installation engine ran perfect with no check engine light and no tuning was needed.

So it bolted on real easy, did the throttle body relearn and it adjusted itself within a minute. All is left to drive it around and I bet its still 5 stars!Throttle body relearn: Run for 3 mins, off for 1 min, run for 3 mins.
