I went to the dealership and purchased this booster first for $791 then I decided to see who has it check Google first then I came to Amazon if you know anything about General Motors hydraulic system you can't just go buy the parts from anywhere because nine times out of 10 they're going to be faulty so it's best to get the genuine part long story short, it fit and worked perfectly extremely happy

This part came ready to go out of the box. Fit our 2003 Yukin Denali perfectly. You might also order a brake light switch to accompany this part. Ours was brittle from age. Also purchased this switch oem as we tried the one from the big red and orange box store and it DID NOT work.

Worked great on my 05 Tahoe w/ tow package where you have the hydroboost. The part came in an OEM box in just a few days from NY to MO and looks new and no reason for me to believe it's not OEM. Yes it's more expensive than a rebuild or you can buy a 40 dollar rebuild kit and see if it works. When you do the job, spending all that time if the repair doesn't go well on a rebuild or kit isn't appealing to me. Looking at my old hydroboost and the area where the oil was leaking with some corrosion didn't give me confidence that's even a smart idea to rebuild it with just new seals. Give yourself a solid 2-3 hrs to do the job. Remember to bleed the power steering after finishing up. Some good videos on the ytube showing how to do the repair.

I have ordered a lot of "Genuine" OEM parts and have received knock-off parts. This was the real deal. Works great, and I'm hoping it will last as long as the original (18 years). Hoping I don't have to, but would buy again.

I bought the rebuild kit for my 2005 yukon hydroboost on Amazon and it failed immediately. I figured I did somthing to ruin the cup seal so I purchased another. It lasted almost 3 days then the cup seal failed. So I broke down and purchased this. I should have just done that in the first place easier and has been working for 2 months with no issues.
