Made sure to look up vehicle to see if it was compatible, website said yes but when it arrived it was clearly wrong and was not compatible. Had to return

Beware, this switch on its own does not fit into the OEM plastic housing on the steering column of a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS. I had to heavily modify the plastic body of the switch itself to get it to mostly fit. Original switch was made in Mexico, and this switch was made in China. That could be part of the problem.

Part operated correctly. The electrical connection fit correctly. However there was some protrusions on the part that interfered with the fit. I had to modify the vehicle a little and the part a little so it would "click" in place.
