Our Maine Coon pet "Gypsy" had the occasional hairball until we began using this product. I can rate the flavor 5-star only by judging from her reaction - she loves it. If she hasn't had her daily "treat" by 10:30 am she follows me around complaining until she gets it. So, it's tasty, effective, and competitive in price with other similar products out there.

My cat likes the taste, and it helps her pass the fur balls. A previous much-loved, and now deceased cat, liked it so much that as soon as I woke up, she started meowing at me to give it to her. Such clever beings they are!

I used to buy this product at Petsmart but they changed to something else that my cat would not eat. Found it on Amazon making it very convenient! It is a little pricey but it has helped my cat pass hairballs so it’s worth it. I just hope it continues to be available.

GNC Pets Ultra Mega Hairball Formula Gel Supplement for Cats - My kitty boy is a HUGE 20 pound Maine Coon Mix breed -which means LOTS of fur to groom & unfortunately even with my daily groomings - he STILL had hairball issues! NOBODY wants to run into of STEP on one of those disgusting hair RATS - Eeewww!!! It got so bad that he was yacking them up every few days - which meant having to wash his bedding every time too! My poor miserable Tiger and - the YUCK factor for both of us!!!I found this GNC brand hairball "gell" {tho it's more of a paste actually} - and had already added dry hairball control kibble to his diet & it's made ALL the difference! I had another brand I bought here first and he absolutely HATED IT!!! The ONLY way I could get it INTO him was to hold him down & rub it into his front paws while he cried and complained and was ultimately FORCED to lick it OFF! It made both of us SO unhappy and it REEKED too!!!With GNC Hairball Control Gel - after I brush him every morning he can not WAIT for me to hurry and give him his "medicine" {about a half teaspoon or so squeezed up} and joyfully licks it right off the tube!!! Makes for a much happier start to both our days and we rarely have to deal with miserable hairball RATZZZ he's had to yack up!REMEMEMBER - its only this GNC brand - the other was some "Vets" brand and believe me, my Tiger knows the difference just in the very similar looking TUBES now! I don't have to call him to his grooming perch anymore after he eats breakfast - he's already THERE and WAITING for me to get his grooming AND his new favorite "treat"!!!

My long-haired cat has had two serious spells of constipation over the years that made her so sick she almost died. This is the first product that she loves the flavor of. Keeps her output regular and normal. No problems for the two years she’s been eating them. She gets four in the am and again in the pm. That’s a lot but she is a huge long-haired Maine Coon cat.

This is a terrible product. It’s hard as a brick and my cats can’t chew it. Save your money and try another brand. I emailed the seller and they never responded...that was a month ago. Very disappointed I wasted money.

Product was hard. Too hard for my cat to chew and too large.. would be better if smaller and softer. The flavor was ok but product little pricy. Also, bag is supose to be resealable but mine would not reseal no matter what I did.

It doesn't completely eliminate hairballs, but it helps my cat have more regular bowel movements without giving her laxatives. One thing I would love to see changed is the texture of the chews. GNC claims it is soft, but it takes my cat a lot of work to chew it up. It also feels hard in my hand when squeezed between thumb and forefinger. I never give her more than one at a time, and try to space out a total of 4 a day.
