This is an adorable addition to anyone's collection. It doesn't have to be used just as a tree topper. I was a little confused that the battery wires were not connected to the item itself upon shipping. This little guy lights up. Still, very cute.

This is maybe for a tiny table tree, but not for a main large tree. Its beautiful, but sadly very small.

This item says that the gnome is 12 inches. But, it is only 12 inches if the hat is standing straight up, which it doesn't (and would look ridiculous if it did). Also, he is only about 4-5 inches around. Making him very small, and he is way too small for my tree. However, he does make a good decoration to sit among the garland.
