100均のマットを使用してましたが、こちらはガラス製のため綺麗に切れるし、切った後のマスキングテープも綺麗に剥がれます。

持った感じの第一印象が「重い」でした。まぁガラス製なので当然です。それ以外はとても良いです。ときよりライトの反射が目に刺さります。

DSPIAEのサークルカッターでマスキングテープを切っていたら円形に傷が。どうせ傷ついたならと試してみたところ少し強めに力を入れたら簡単に傷がつくことが分かりました。強化ガラスでこんな簡単に傷つくのおかしくない？と思い調べてみると、そもそもの思い違いで「強化ガラス＝傷つきにくい」ではないとのこと。強化ガラスであることで普通のガラスよりは割れにくくなるものの表面の傷つきやすさで言えばむしろ強化ガラスの方が傷つきやすいそうです。これが分かるとプラバンやパーツの整形でデザインナイフがカッターマットにカツっとあたるのも怖くなりますね。DSPIAEのサークルカッターで傷ついたのは刃先を出しすぎていたみたいで刃先を本体からほんの少しはみ出す程度に設定するとカッターマットを傷つけずに綺麗に切ることができました。マスキングテープを切るには便利なんですが、カッターマットとしては限定的にしか使えないものにこの値段はさすがに高すぎかな。

マスキングテープや厚紙等の薄物を切るには、通常のカッティングマットより具合がよく、カッターの切れ味が上がったように感じるほど。ただし、常用するには刃の消耗が激しすぎる為、逆に作業効率が低下する。体感だが、おそらく30cmと保たずに刃がダメになる。また、二度切り三度切りが必要な素材には適さない。明白なアドバンテージを感じるのは、テンプレートやコンパスカッターで、曲線ないし円を切り出す場合。刃の滑りがよいので圧倒的にコントロールしやすく、同時にキレイな切断面を得られる。他にはエッチングパーツのゲート切りも、通常のマットでは沈むときに歪みが発生するのだがその心配がないので便利。（傷が入る懸念があるので、これは端の方でやるとよいと思う）

I've used this for a couple weeks and it's already full of scratches. Before I use to use just a piece of glass to cut tape. Never had issues with scratches or deep gouges on the surface. I bought this just for the novelty of it. Now I got to switch back to the glass sheet I used before. Quite honestly this product would be so easy to reproduce. All you'd have to do is print out a picture of the blue background and adhere it to the back of a piece of glass. That's really all this is.

I know cutting mats are meant to cut on but I have a heavy hand and usually apply more pressure than I should. This causes the mats to wear faster than they should. Enter the GodHand Glass Cutting Mat. This is worth the price for hobbyists who like a fast, clean, cut. It resists most solvents, unlike most cutting mats in which lacquers will wipe away the guide lines. I wish it were a little larger, but appreciate the size it is.

I bought this because I'm a big fan of the God Hand Nippers. The size is rather small for a cutting mat. The price is rather high as well. There maybe other glass cutting mats out there for better value. With that, it’s easily cleaned when paint or glue gets on it. When cutting tape for masking, you don’t easily lose its stickiness due to the glass surface.
