This was bought as a wedding gift and they loved it, especially knowing it can be used different ways. It also has a convenient plastic rim that can be used around the bottom of the lid covering to keep it from cracking or shattering if it is bumped or sat down too hard. There were no flaws in the glass that I found in another brand and had to return. It was packaged well and was received in 3 days. The price is well worth it compared to others and I will purchase this as a gift again. I highly recommend this elegant four way cake plate with dome covering.

I love that this is multifunctional! This serves as a beautiful cake stand or flip it over for an elegant appetizer and dip stand. Highly recommend.

I'm not sure about the comments about a bad seal and this being made of plastic... because the item I got is exactly what was advertised. I love it!Arrived safe, in good condition, and is definitely made of glass. As versatile as the listing shows - can be used as a closh, punch bowl, or as a platter with a lid (which is how I store it).Admittedly the lid doesn't seal well as a lid over a platter, but the listing doesn't advertise this as one of the configurations anyway.Highly recommend!

Most impressively, this glass set will serve punch, cake, dips, and veggie or fruit servings. The glass is mostly beautiful but I did detect some imperfections like dark spots and blurring. They are mostly imperceptible but my wife saw them right away.This will see a lot of use.

After having a pie wrapped in tin foil on the counter for a few days it dawned on me that a nice glass dish would be a much better display for some sweets. This dish is great because it is a nice cake or pie dish (its loaded with cookies now) so you can see the items inside and it also has a bottom that when turned upside down is a five-section vegetable, cookie or whatever dish where the middle section can be used for dip. Very cool. And the glass lid comes with a plastic liner around the rim so it doesn't bang glass to glass when you put the lid back onto a cake. Nice!

The cake cover had numerous air bubbles in the glass. These are obvious and unsightly and i had to request to return the item. Unfortunately the logistics Co massaged me twice to schedule collection but failed to turn up on both dates. This multiple service failure is wasting alot of time.Updated 9 Jan 24: Till now Amazon has still failed to collect the defective item ( after I reached out to Customer Chat line twice and received a total of 6 text messages from their return logistics) although Amazon had stipulated a deadline for acceptance of return item. All in all, lot of time wasted waiting for them to collect the item and meanwhile, the bulky box is sitting in the garage still waiting. Shameful level of service and very frustrating experience!
