I have a Godox round head flash so I bought the round head accessories kit (AK-R1) but I, also, have several traditional rectangular head flash units (V860 II, V850) and wanted to be able to use the round head accessories with them. The SR-2 adapter allows that. It's a simple device and works very well and is well made. I took one star off because the SR-2 adapter is a lot more expensive than the SR-1 adapter, which does the same thing. At the time I ordered the SR-2, the price was $16.90 but the SR-1 can be purchased for $6.90. I compared the two adapters by looking at the photos of the SR-1 and found the only difference between the two is a half round notch in the bottom of the SR-2, which is for use with Godox AD200 Pro II. The AD200 Pro II has a fan on the top of the fresnel head and the round notch is there to keep it from being blocked. It makes sense but I was surprised by the price difference and I’m wondering if it’s due to the tariffs. (This item is was just recently introduced and was received before the 145% tariff was suspended.) If you plan to use the adapter with the AD200 Pro II, then the SR-2 is the one to get but, otherwise, you can save a lot of money by buying the SR-1.

This adapter is great for allowing me to use my Godox V1 Pro accessories with the AD200. Made well and fits perfectly. Tried it on my Canon speedlite and that works, too. Good for allowing me to get more versatile use out of my gear!

This is a great accessory for the AD200 Pro II, and inexpensive at that! There are many "fancier" accessories you could attach to the AD200 to diffuse light or add a gel, but when I'm traveling, this allows me to take a single kit (the AK-R1) and use it with either my V1 Pro or the AD200. That the REAL beauty of this kit, interchangeability between on camera flashes and the AD200 Pro II.The build quality of this unit is good, mostly plastic, but quality plastic and a firm grip via some thin rubber. The design is truly built for the AD200, with a nice little detent for the cooling fan.Good design, good quality, great grip.

Of my five speedlights, my main three are round heads, while the other two are flat, or rectangular. Because I mostly use the three round heads, most of my accessories are built for them and my rectangular speed lights are sorta out of the loop. So I was a bit surprised to see an attachment like this where I can effectively convert my Godox V850III into a round head. After trying it out, it's definitely not perfect, but I mostly feel like it works well enough to justify the smallish price tag... especially if you stand to gain extra compatibility with more of your kit.In terms of build quality, I think it's more than adequate. They didn't cheap out on the plastic, so it feels like it could take a bit of punishment without snapping or chipping. The screw mechanism is wide and large, so there's plenty of torque to comfortably tighten the S-R2 to my speedlight. If I had to complain about something, I would say that the face is a bit undersized, so the edges of the frame will always cut down a bit of the light. It does make sense why they would do that however... they probably didn't want to add more bulk unless it was absolutely necessary. Also, this attachment does make it impossible to use a bounce card, so keep that in mind as well. Aside from those two, small issues, it actually works kind of well, so it's an easy 5/5 stars from me.

Love the idea of attaching accessories that are usually available on high end flashes. This attaches easily and tightly to the flash without issue. Just make sure you're using it with a flash that is compatible.

für die Nutzung der Profoto Leuchtformer, bspw. mit Beauty Dish oder dem Profoto Magnum Reflektor, mit dem man die Lichtausbeute des Godox AD200 noch einmal richtig steigern kann
