Works great, really good quality and value for the money. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great flash on a low budget or just starting out. There are some cons to them as they don't allow for high speed sync or in camera flash menu adjustments but overall very happy with the purchase.

Après avoir utilisé le Godox TT520II pendant plusieurs semaines, je suis impressionnée par sa performance et sa polyvalence. Les 8 niveaux de contrôle de la puissance et les trois modes de flash (M/S1/S2) s'adaptent parfaitement à diverses situations de prise de vue. Son temps de recyclage rapide de 0,1 à 5 secondes et sa durée de flash de 1/300s à 1/20000s garantissent des images nettes et bien exposées.La large compatibilité avec les appareils photo reflex numériques, grâce à ses accessoires inclus comme le réflecteur/diffuseur, la boîte à lumière et le mini support, en font un choix pratique pour les photographes de différents niveaux. De plus, l'utilisation du déclencheur sans fil permet une flexibilité accrue lors de la prise de vue, offrant ainsi une liberté de créativité.Un point à noter est que le Godox TT520II ne dispose pas de réglage automatique, ce qui signifie que vous devrez ajuster manuellement les paramètres en fonction de vos besoins. This flash is very similar in operation to other similarly built flashes, but it has a few perks over the other flashes. For one, the remote trigger is a great feature. I use remote trigger on some of my other flashes, but it involves separate transmitters and receivers meaning I have more batteries to change and more pieces to worry about. The built in remote flash is a huge “win” for me. I also like remote trigger because it reduces your camera weight.The flash also comes with a diffusion cap and gels. When I first saw the diffusion cap I didn’t think it would do much, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. It does a nice job. I also wasn’t keen on the gels and still not impressed with how they attach to the flash, but they work well. I thought having the clear pocket to insert the gel would reduce the power of the flash significantly, but it didn’t. I tested the gels inside the plastic and outside the plastic using tiny pieces of gaffers tape to keep them in place when not in the plastic sleeve. I saw no difference in the output.The flash does take batteries, so be prepared to invest in a large pack of AA’s. The flash can be tilted upward at 45, 60, 75, and 90 degree angles. It can also be pointed left or right and even backward at the one side, however, you cannot rotate 360 degrees completely around. You have the typical M, S1, and S2 modes, multiple channels, a test button, and a power low light.The flash attaches to the camera with a hot shoe and twist on knob. The remote also attaches the same way. The build quality and design appear to be good and I anticipate several years of use from the flash.The recycle time is similar to other flashes in the same class. If you are just using the flash for a studio setting with little or no movement, it is probably sufficient. This would not be a good flash for fast repeated shots.Overall, this is a great flash for the price point and comes with some great perks. I would recommend it. I am enjoying using it, and I give it five stars.

Buon flash manuale per praticamente tutti i sistemi con contatto caldo al centro, io lo ho provato su Olympus, Nikon e Canon e funziona perfettamente.Il flash nonostante il prezzo è di buona qualità: quello su cui si va a risparmiare sono le funzioni intelligenti ma non la costruzione. La torcia è generalmente robusta e ben fatta, alimentata a batterie – 4x AA. La parabola è orientabile in tutte le direzioni e subito sopra il riflettore trova posto un diffusore e relativo riflettente in bianco, come da scuola Godox. Bene. Presente anche un illuminatore IR, peccato che con la slitta che si ritrova è praticamente inutile, perché il corpo macchina non ha modo di inviare la necessità di illuminazione…La semplificazione delle funzioni di cui parlavo modifica sensibilmente l’esperienza d’uso, che non somiglia per niente all’utilizzare un flash TTL in modalità manuale. In questo caso è molto più semplice. Ci sono i due tasti + e – ed un grafico a barre per visualizzare la potenza. Stop. Molto molto semplice ed immediato.Colore della luce costante al variare della potenza d’uso, tempi di ricarica ragionevolissimi… molto piacevole da usare.Bene anche il piccolo telecomando, nonostante le difficoltà per accedere al vano batterie: volevo prenderne una per ricambio (faccio spesso foto in studio quindi utilizzo molto il flash) ma in un primo momento non sono riuscito ad accedervi ne il telecomandino è citato in nessuno dei fogli istruzioni. Comunque il range di controllo è buono, ho personalmente testato fino a 5 metri in un ambiente super saturo di interferenze senza problemi. Comunque utilizza batterie A23 a 12V, e si apre svitando la vite nascosta sotto l’unica etichetta. Non user-frendly.Volendo riassumere, l’esperienza d’uso è molto piacevole, superiore a quella in modalità manuale offerta da un flash TTL. Chiaramente il flash TTL lo si usa in TTL. Inoltre c’è un altro aspetto. Il protocollo wireless che utilizza questo flash è diverso da quello a 2,4 utilizzato dall’universo Godox, e quindi si resta un po’ tagliati fuori. Su questo punto bisogna pensarci bene, perché a mio parere un setup completo ha bisogno di almeno due punti luce – idealmente tre. Godox ci fa il gran regalo della cross compatibility a 2,4mhz, cioè posso comprare un flash per nikon e uno per canon e farli lavorare insieme in wireless, una volta con canon ed una volta con Nikon, ma in questo caso il protocollo è diverso quindi non ne approfittiamo.Prima di prenderlo consiglio di verificare il costo di un entry level TTL.

I already have a Samsung brand flash that I use as my mounted flash, and decided to just give this one a chance to go in my camera bag. It doesn't do TTL so it's not the best as your primary flash, but I'm definitely going to get good use out of it anyway. This does work well, both mounted and wireless, with both my Samsung NX camera and my Pentax. I would imagine it will work with basically anything with a flash shoe.I'm mostly using it as a slave though. Just when I want a little extra light somewhere else. It's also been fun experimenting with the gels it came with, even if the gel holder that came with it is kind of cheap and crappy looking. I'm going to design and 3D print my own holder for gels though, and that will be much better.

This is a great light for the price. I didn't realize that my Canon T7i would only communicate with it through my viewfinder, any I could not use the LCD screen even though I have the center pin. The flash works, but my camera only recognizes it viewfinder mode. I am still giving this 5 stars because it works great, and it is my camera that is the limitation. I purchased another model instead that had a trigger that works with it. I needed the E-TTL connection instead of the single pin in order to use it with my LCD touch screen. For the money, this is a great light, and similar quality to the higher end products on the market. You can't beat the price of this unit for entry level camera flashes. Why buy used when you can buy new for this price.I hope this helps with your purchase decision.
