Over priced, but these GA tuners are solid replacements for vintage guitars. Ratio is only 15:1 but they hold tune better than the originals.

Acquired a 1946 Harmony Patrician archtop with crumbling plate tuners. Bought replacements, loved the sound and the little guitar became my favorite. But wouldn't stay in tune. Found these which looked of better quality and like they belonged on the Patrician. Had to drill the holes out a tad to get in the metal sleeves which were absent. (reason for 2 star ease of installation) I'm hoping they along with the mechanism upgrade will help prevent tuning from straying. So far, so good. New strings and a public test tonight. If problem continues, I'll amend my review.

I love these, both for the look and the vast improvment from the worn out tuners on my old Kay archtop. A perfect fit and instant upgrade!
