It DOES scramble the egg perfectly and the plastic and nylon do seem sturdy. But it also shreds the outer membrane of the egg, making it impossible to peel. I tried a dozen eggs from three different brands boiled for different periods including very hard. Impossible to peel the shell without tearing into the flesh.

While the product idea is good, the string broke on the 4th use. If they chose a different material for the string it would be a great product. Unfortunately I will have to either replace string this one myself or throw it out and get a new one.

yes, it does scramble an egg inside its shell. Pleasantly surprised that this actually works! Seems to be good quality; string is nylon, so I expect it to last.

The string snapped pretty quickly, the electronic ones are much more reliable.

I tries several eggs, it works. Eggs don't always mix full. Also, harder to peal egg after it's mixed.

It works as intended, if you have Popeye arms it would be much better. Need to get 30+ high speed direction changes to completely mix the white and yolk in the egg. You need the protein to continue using the product, eat up!!!

The other reviews that say the handle breaks easily is because they are holding the handles wrong. You put your hands through the loops and I like to gently hold the strings as well.Also, you do not need to pull it super hard just use a consistent pull and you shouldn’t break anything. For 8$ it does its job and makes scrambled hard boiled eggs.
