The big issue is that the channels are not cut properly, so the strings keep popping out. I had to enlarge them using a very fine blade from a scrolling saw. I prefer to get items that work out of the box.

I bought an Oypla banjo with a stock bridge and strings on Amazon a while ago. I liked the sound, but it wasn't the best. I changed the strings to D'addario phosphor bronze and this bridge and it sounds like it cost 10x more than the mere 130 pounds I paid for the thing! Amazing item, really brings out the best of your instrument
