Had to return as it did not fit my mandolin even though it was the stated model for my particular instrument.

This product made a nice installation, but is definitely not something a novice should try. I had to shape the back of the plastic to fit it close to the neck, and also had to drill very small holes and glue the pins into them. The result was not perfect, but looks really good with a little patience and TLC.

As you can see the description is for a pick guard and so is the picture, when I ordered the item it said it was a pick guard I am still expecting to see the pick guard when the package arrives. I will give an update review on the outcome.

Good price & quality, but the mounting bracket is actually for a Les Paul, so is too large for a mandolin. I had to order an additional bracket sized for a mandolin. Wouldn't have purchased it as a set if I'd known about the bracket issue.
