Nice quality but they are nickle plated STEEL not brass. False advertising.

These are good. Slightly thinner than original American ones but nevertheless perfectly good for the job

My original hooks are 2 3/4" long. A significant difference. Very disappointed in Golden Gate and myself for not heeding the warnings listed here.

I had a set of cheaper hooks I was going to use on this banjo - but of the 24 (or more) hook/nut pairs that I had, only 15 actually were threaded correctly where the nut would grab on the hook within the proper distance. I needed 16. I bought these hooks and they worked great. My only complaint is that the nuts are not the greatest shape and are about 1/8" longer than I would have preferred - if not for that I would give them five stars.

These as shown are NOT Banjo bracket hooks. I tried very hard to obtain these banjo geared tuning pegs at the price shown.The hooks arrived but for some reason caused the Thai Post Office some grief no idea why.Amazon or Saga Musical failed badly on this one.
