I love this frame. Everything about it. I put my wedding ceremony certificate in it, looks great and not too girly at all. Classy. The gold is not flashy, it's an antiqued color. I wanted to buy a second one for our camp but it's been out of stock since I received this one.

I had an antique odd sized litho graph approx 9”7” saved from the trash, and the only pre cut mats for it were for the document dimensions. Most document frames are cheap plastic or the colors are too dark for this piece. This is perfect for the 1902 lithograph from a photo taken in 1901. The mat came with an archival backer board which meant I had to do away with the easel backing as both made the inserts too thick. Anyhow it does not say what the frame is made of but it is stout enough and non plastic enough to accept fasteners for a wire hanger. Hard to get a close, sharp photo of this with the glass insert and Not sure if my photo captures the frame color perfectly but it is a nice tone of old gold. Certainly cheaper than professional framing. As a history and social studies educator I had to know who this woman was. Found the original 1901 photo and photographer on line .. “the little butterfly” is the title and the lithograph company is stamped in the lower left corner .. this is Evelyn Nesbit at age 16 and arguably the world’d first supermodel. In the exploding world of advertising and commercial publishing, her image was everywhere..catalogs, magazine covers, product advertisements, women’s magazines, art poses, illustrations in popular literature ..The illustrator Charles Dana Gibson used her so much for romance and short story publications that she became the ideal image of American womanhood known as The Gison Girl. She also was on the stage and in a chorus line gaining more notoriety. Before she was even out of her teens she and her mother were swept into the world of power and money. She was the center of the biggest scandal of the first decade of the 20th century and her life was never the same.It is a beautiful piece that was full of surprises. And the frame a great find.

I was looking for frames that would hold an 8 1/2" X 11" drawing. These worked beautifully. The quality is exactly what I was looking for. They have an expensive look with an old world feel. They were also packaged really well. So often when you order something with glass, the packaging denotes the seller doesn't care about the product. I was quite impressed! I knew I was getting a quality product that was well protected.

very sturdy, lovely frames. I like that I didn't have to take the kickstand thing off to get it to hang evenly on the wall like I have to with most frames.

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL frame, especially at this price point! It fit my 8.5" x 11" certificate perfectly, and looks stunning. The colors are deep and rich. I was skeptical to purchase, but it's a winner! Do not hesitate to get it based on quality concerns - home run!

I purchased this frame to house a print of a majestic sloth. Its ornate edges and antique-y color were the perfect complement to His Royal Slothness. It looks expensive hanging on the wall, but was very affordable. It was incredibly well made too

I've ordered quite a few of these for "years of service" certificates- They have real glass; they look nice; and the price is right- Good value- In Amazon's description, the picture of the back should be updated, as this item now has a supporting leg on the back-
