Other than the color of the cone, it still has the same design as the originals and it fits right in. Kinda.The foam surround slightly covers the screw holes so be a bit careful installing it, also note you would have to replace the internal speaker connector as it's a different size.

The sound quality of these speakers is great. I placed them in some old speakers I have has as of 1982. I was happy with the woofers I had been using - no problem with them but after 40 years I figured replace and reuse in some others I put together for my son. . Was truly shocked at the low end difference in these speakers. Love the sound and they seem to be holding up well taking loads of true power with old school amps. Pioneer VSX-5700-s on the other side of Garage they seem to like. In the Garage as that is where I can play it loud. Highly Recommend these Speakers.

I bought these to replace the woofers in my 2 Infinity R4001s. The speaker cabinet mounting holes were slightly wider than the mounting holes in the woofer frames. I was able to flair the screws out enough to capture the cabinet holes. I also had to crimp the connectors on the terminals. Decent bass. I'm happy with them.

It proves the old adage:" You can't take any loudspeaker and put it into any box and get good results." If you count on these to give you prodigious bass (or any noticeable bass), you will be as disappointed as I was. They are not designed for sealed enclosures. I'm not sure what kind of enclosures they would work with. Speaker systems are a tricky business. The cabinet and its design and dimensions are as important as the quality of the loudspeakers. I suspected the result when I gave the cone a gentle push downward and noted the apparent stiffness in the suspension. That signaled: weak bass. Unless you have an engineering degree and can precisely determine a good match between speaker and enclosure, don't waste time and money taking a crap shot at replacing the woofers in your speaker systems.

They sound good ... magnet size is smaller than expected not sure if they are reaching low frequency of 25 HZ as claimed. Disappointed to find out they are made in China and not in the US as you are let to assume
