It just went up on top of our newly shingled gazebo cedar roof and it looks great.The Amish man who put it up suggested the mount, that was suggested by Amazon to buy with it, was not the nicest- he prefers internal mounts.Hh only used two of the extenders (also recommended to be bought with it) instead of all three as he thought it looked too high otherwise.Between the new shingles and the beautiful copper duck. my husband's outdoor man cave is hugely upgraded

I purchased this 5 years ago and this photo was taken this week so I could write a review and share how well it is holding up.My siblings and I purchased this for my dad to put on his shop after losing our brother, Duck. Fitting, right?! We thought so and he loved it. Win/win! He set up some solar lights to shine on it at night.Great quality. It may look small in the picture but it is not. My dad’s shop is huge and this is the best pic I could get from standing on the ground. Don’t hesitate to purchase this if you’re on the fence!

After a few delivery hiccups which Good Directions handled quickly and very professionally we were able to install our beautiful weathervane successfully. This Landing Duck is truly a work of art. It is functioning perfectly in a strong gusty NE wind. Well done!!!

This is a well crafted, classy, beautiful weathervane. Shipping and packaging were perfect. Well protected in packaging. Install was easy, with good instructions. The hardest part was getting up to my barn’s peak. Looks really great and moves with the wind easily. Highly recommend.

To echo some other reviews, it is a striking and Beautifully well made roof ornament. It came very well package and is exactly what I was hoping for, And Got. GREAT QUALITY AND GREAT PRICE! will be clear coating it to slow the oxidation in the Oregon coast weather. And one more very important thing.... The Wife loves it too

I needed to replace my 50 year old weathervane after a hail storm. I ran across Good Directions company and found this awesome copper piece of art. Great craftsmanship. Looks really good on my old copper cupola. I did shorten it about 6” for my application. It really stands out. I couldn’t be more pleased.
