Im Rahmen von Amazon Vine, was keinerlei Einfluss auf die Bewertung hat, durften wir diesen Artikel testen. Die Bestellung wurde gewohnt zügig und unkompliziert bearbeitet. Geliefert werden die passend zum Duft gestalteten Beutel in einem schlichten Pappkarton. Bereits vor Auspacken des Amazonpaketes (!) entströmte selbigen der angenehm würzig frische Duft. Ich habe die Beutelchen nun einen reichlichen Monat in Benutzung und bin insgesamt sowohl von Duftrichtungen als auch Haltbarkeit sehr zufrieden!

These cedarwood sachets smell amazing. I'm a bit of a hippie at heart so they hooked me at patchouli. When I first opened the package that held all of the sachets the fragrance was pretty strong. At first it was hard to pinpoint the spiciness of the patchouli through the sweeter, more powdery? top notes (I'm really bad at describing scents apparently), but those mellowed out over a day or two, and now I can smell the deeper and warmer characteristics of the patchouli along with the cedarwood that sits somewhere towards the middle.I put one in our hall closet with the coats and semi-stinky shoes, one in my own closet, and one in a little vase in the main bathroom of my house, which is in the center of the first floor so I get little whiffs of it as I go about my day. :) They're all individually wrapped so the sachets that aren't being used right away don't lose their smell while they wait their turn, so there's no rush to use them, though it's tempting. I've only used three sachets so far, so I still have nine left to find homes for, and once the sachets that are out have faded, I'm going to put them in my dresser drawers. :)

I like this fragrance, even though I think it is a bit too strong for me. One, it is a bit too floral than woody in my opinion and from whatever limited knowledge and 'fragrance-memory' I have. I may be wrong, but that's how my olfactory senses picked up the predominant fragrance from these sachets. Two, since the smell is a bit too strong I have decided to keep it in the outer wrapping to allow it to diffuse at a slower rate maybe. (Or, put another way, I think opening it would be a bit too much!). Overall, nice. I have kept one each in my main dresser drawer and each of the closets.

These "Aegean Sea Scented Sachets" had such a strong scent that I could smell it even before I opened the sealed bubble envelope mailer. I would not describe the smell as "Fresh, salty breeze" as in the Vendor description. Not by a long shot. It's an old fashioned perfume smell that takes me back 60 years. Yes, I remember back then.Fragrance experiences are very individual, but my impression was of a heavy floral perfume and something sharp like citronella? I am not suggesting that is in them, but it was what it reminded me of. Maybe it's the Vetiver, which is often used in perfumes. Of course, a powerful perfume may be exactly what you are looking for. If you think most sachets are too weak and bland, you might like these a lot.I was curious about the company "Good Life" and found that it is a reputable company based in Aukland, New Zealand. They have been around since 1965. Their website says "Three generations later and we still develop and design hand-blended fragrances and our original fragrance sachets." Their sachets are manufactured in Greece from their perfumes. That explains a lot to me about why these sachets smell the way they do. I was around when this company was founded. These flower forward fragrances were the norm for the older set back then.The Good Life company is truly expert in creating fragrances. Some essential oils are used in some perfumes, but using artificial compounds is normal, too. Since they are traditional perfumers, don't expect their products to smell like straight essential oils. Their sachets are filled with talc (probably from Greece) and their perfume according to the ingredients list. That's the traditional way to make sachets. I personally prefer dried herbs and essential oils and avoid talc. To each their own taste.

This box of sachets arrived in a mailing from Amazon with a few other items. The second I opened the outer box, I could smell these! I instantly started smelling the box - what a lovely surprise. It was floral, but a great combo of floral and absolutely - something grassy and herbal to me. The sachets are then all individually sealed inside. They aren't really large - about the size of your average index card. They'd be perfect as described to put in your intimates dresser drawers, or anywhere you'd like to tuck a little bit of a boost of bright, beautiful fragrance.There are 12 in the box, as promised.I can't even begin to say how absolutely happy I am with this product. I love nice smelling soaps and diffusers and candles, etc. It's always a treat to enter a room or open a drawer, and have a little fragrance treat greet you. This absolutely qualifies. I absolutely recommend this if you are a floral person.This brought back to me the fragrance my grandmother had in her bedroom. I don't think it was her perfume - it might have been her favorite flowers. It's hard to not love something that made me think of her.So, so recommended. It's delightful.

Wollten frischen Duft im Schrank. Bis jetzt macht das Beutelchen was es soll. Langzeitwirkung steht noch aus. Ist nicht billig, aber man wird sehen

While these sachets have a lovely floral/woody scent, I do have to warn anyone who is sensitive to scents that I found them to be very strong. Now, with that caveat out of the way, I think if they are used in a larger space like a closet or bathroom they will diffuse enough to be much more tolerable.I do love the simple design and pretty artwork. Each sachet has a very slim profile which allows it to be work in a large variety of spaces. They are also individually wrapped in poly wrappers, which is nice for protecting them from moisture or spills until ready to use since they are made of paper.Overall I'd recommend these for the style and scent, but maybe just not to anyone with pets/people in their household that find strong scents to be overwhelming.
