This small AM/FM radio is easy to use. It runs on two AA batteries and doesn’t need charging. There are no fancy buttons—just a dial to switch between AM and FM and to find stations. It has a speaker or you can plug in headphones. The sound is clear, and my father-in-law figured it out fast. It’s a good choice for someone who wants something basic that works.

I know this is a cheap radio, but I've tried others for similar prices, even one that was digital for $4 more that you can swap channel presets easily compared to this dial one.The radio itself has decent reception, though can be finicky trying to find the right spot for stations. The sound quality also isn't the best on this one and can be pretty tin-like.I would look elsewhere on Amazon for better radios.

I bought this out of nostalgia as I had one similar when I was a young teen. This little radio runs on batteries and the quality of sound is good, for a small radio. I use it alot and I appreciate and enjoy it as I listen to the local radio statio while working in the shed or sitting quietly writing reviews on my Amazon purchases.

The first one I purchased began to have issues but we had it for a few years so that's not bad. This is my second purchase and my husband takes this radio everywhere almost. To the bathroom for showers or outside when it's warm to sit in a lawn chair in the sun (When we have sun in this State lol) Not a bad radio and the price is good.

Cute lil radio has good sound for a small device. It's not a stereo or speaker so beware. This reminds me of my grandmother's radio in her kitchen growing up, just enough to have background music to keep you motivated working / cooking or could use for weather emergency as well

This is my 3rd am/fm radio buy and it is the best. Good sound and volume control and it actually picks up the FM station where I can listen to ballgames, which none of the other radios did, although they claimed to pick up FM stations. Good buy for the $$$.

So glad that I bought and tested before ever actually needing to use this thing. Batteries went in, it turned on, I'm looking through the channels and sound goes out. I mess with the volume, sometimes the sound would come back, other times I had to turn it off and back on. Once I got it on a channel, couldn't dare touch it or especially the volume wheel, otherwise the sound would just stop again. Needless to say I'm returned and finding a better one. You get what you pay for!
