I ordered this leather strip to potentially wrap my fingers for playing a wooden cajon drum. I'm still experimenting with adhesion, but it works well (leather being more skin-like than the cloth tape I usually use). I like that one side is so soft, and the other is traditionally (smooth) treated leather. However, my use is hyper-specific and not what this item is probably going to be purchased for usually. I'm not sure how to rate the quality since I've never crafted anything with leather. But it appears to be of fine quality.

This is exactly what I've needed to cover up the ripped handles on my old leather messenger bag. It's not much cheaper than if you find "genuine leather" on sale, but this is still a very good value for durable material.
