This beach tent is pretty nice, very small package, fairly easy to set up and take down, and provides a lot of roomy comfort at the beach, as long as there's plenty of sand (or grass) to spread it out on. It's not exactly obvious how to put it up the first time (included directions were rudimentary at best) but the setup video in the product listing was very helpful. Now that I've set it up once, it will be easy to do so again.The fiberglass spring bar supports have a lot of segments held together with elastic cord. The short individual segments allow the tent to fold up into a very small carrying package, which is nice. The tent fabric is very thin and light weight but appears to be durable and windproof, not to mention providing comfortable protection from ultraviolet light.My spouse loves how spacious the tent is. It's not huge, but it provides a sense of privacy that a typical beach umbrella simply can't. And it's so much more easily transported, too!Two things I didn't like so much: first, the front flap/floor doesn't have any way of staking or holding open in a breeze by itself, so that has to be dealt with. Second, the floor flap doesn't lay all the way flat, the way it's depicted in the photo-shopped product pics. Instead it has a raised lip that can be a slight tripping hazard if you're not careful. But then, the raised part could help keep sand and debris out, so it's not a huge drawback.It's not perfect, but it's good enough to recommend. So far, I like it.

We live only a 45 minute drive from the Gulf of America, so last weekend we took the Gorich Portable Beach Tent for 3-6 Person with 50+ UV Protection with us to the beach. Normally when we spend the whole day at the beach, from dawn to dusk, we take a camping tent and set it up if it isn't too windy, a big pain in the rear every time but worth it to keep the sun exposure down. So we took this Gorich Portable Beach Tent with us and set it up instead. FYI I highly suggest you assemble/ disassemble this at least once before arriving at the beach to use. For us, setup was a breeze with the after watching the online video. We really enjoyed this tent, it was a hundred times easier than our regular camping tent setup, and the view with this new one is so much better! We will be taking this wonderful sun-shelter with us each and every-time we venture out to the Gulf. We all really enjoyed this and the setup and take down was very easy! We love it!

I ordered the 3-person size, and we just set it up for a trial run. . We love this tent! The color is a very pretty, very light, aqua/turquoise - not too bright. It was easy to set up without directions (although there is a simple one sheet instruction attached to the carry bag) and my 3-year-old granddaughter was able to expand the three poles for her Daddy to insert through the sleeves of the dome and viola! Literally took just a couple minutes. The 3-person size is absolutely perfect for two adults and two littles (1.5 and 3 years old). The stitching looks great and the fabric seems durable as well. There are pockets attached around the tent that you can fill with sand to help weigh it down, and the extended "floor" allows you to really stretch out (I would have given it 5 stars if there was a pocket at the end to keep that part weighted down too). My favorite features are:* It is soooo portable - the poles fold right up and the whole thing fits in a small, lightweight bag. Easy peasy!* HUGE windows allow for fantastic airflow which is so important for these tents when sitting in the sun. The windows do have covers so you can easily close them up when needed.We are going to get lots of use out of this shade tent this summer, both at the beach and at picnic and campsites. Very pleased!

Fun story: I got this for a beach vacation, but when I got to the beach there were signs everywhere that said no tents. Bummer. But! I set this up in my livingroom anyways to check it out and it did not disappoint! It's a great size. I got the smallest one for 3 people and it's still very spacious and comfortable. The three windows are large and would allow a lot of air through. The front has a large zipper to fully close or leave open. The exterior has little pouches around the base that I imagine can be used for storing items or putting sand in to hold down. I'm surpised how big this is yet how compact it can get in its carrying case. Assembly was pretty easy and straightforward; it took me maybe 15 minutes to put together all by myself. And the instructions are sewn into the carrying case which is a great bonus. This tent could probably be used for camping for a single occupant barring it doesn't rain (the windows don't fully close). The windows can be done up 3 different ways, see pictures for examples. Overall this tent is a score and I'll be sure to find another beach that I can use it at!

When I first set this beach tent up, I was so surprised at how much space we had in it. Compared to the beach tent that I ordered last year for our family vacation, this one is so much better in many ways. It has enough space for upto 6 people and their beach chairs or blankets. The poles are nice and solid and they set up and break down easily. I was suprised at how small the storage bag was compared to the size of the tent but it is really a great spacesaver and it doesn't demand that much space in my luggage. The openings make for a really nice breeze to come through and we all managed to stay cool on such a hot day.Overall, when fully assembled, the tent is nice and solid. It holds up to a good bit of wind, as well. This is a great option for when there are events at the park or for a typical beach day. Me and my husband managed to lay down and take naps on the beach and we slept so good under the shade. It was an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this beach tent. You'll be enthused with it from tbe size all the way to enjoying the fact that it doesn't take up hardly any storage space in the car, luggage beach wagon, etc. This is a must have! It's also very affordable!
