If you are from Canada, don’t buy it because the fitting on the end is reverse, you just can’t find the proper fitting in Canada for it to work, so sad. I had to send it back

Absolutely awesome or small detail work where are you don’t need to have 1 billion BTUs scorching your face just to do small flashing work. Or at least this is what I am told by a friend of mine that does roofing work. Personally I just bought it to burn the wings off of flies and scorch anthills to satisfy my Sociopathic inclinations.....🤷🏻♂️

Torch seems to be fine but beware....the connection is 9/16 reverse threaded. EXTREMELY hard to find. It’s common in the EU but not in America.

HELL FIRE TORCH CONVERTED TO HANDHELD CONVIENIENCE !!!! WOW !!! The chemist has to do experiments, the challenge: make from existing tools a SUPER TORCH the best ever invented!!!! buy this one, remove the swivel attachment on the bottom, clean off the threads, buy a 1/8 to 1/4 coupler, then, buy a "Mr. heater" one pound tank converter , you need teflon tape and pipe dope together on the threads of the male fittings, small amount of pipe dope on the threads, six tight wraps of teflon tape, then more pipe dope over that, (use teflon pipe dope, work it into the bottom of the threads but wipe off excess use a very thin tight layer, another one tight and thin over the tape, no leaking this way, no way!) screw on the new fittings, and there you go! HELLFIRE HANDHELD DEVILS TORCH !!!! CAUTION barely crack the trigger handle to unleash a 12- 18 inch BIG BLUE FLAME TORCH @ 2-3 inches wide sounds like a jet engine, THE COOL FACTOR IS OFF THE CHART !!!! it far out performs anything you could ever imagine, insane flame! unbelievable heat, because you go direct from the tank to liquid propane to gas in a split second with no lost pressure in a hose! This is the first one in the world ever made, I wanted it to sear steaks! holy crap! ten seconds, DONE !!! the conversion I made makes the tool way more powerful than it's design, it is perfectly balanced in the hand, portable now, and more powerful than any torch ON THE PLANET!!! melts a glass bottle like wax, red hot steel in seconds, The manufacturer, when i called them and told them what I was planning on doing, said " I never heard of someone doing that?" it makes the tool a thousand times better! no hoses no big tanks, DEVILS TORCH!don't forget to buy a one pound tank filling adaptor to refill your spent tanks, you can buy all the fittings on Amazon like me, and go make you one!Trust me this is a sick tool! Good torch for doing boat shrink wrapping, detail work, work around the Hem line, and it will do big work as well, but at that point a larger torch takes over and does a better job. I wanted a torch for doing the hemline and detail work, the ShrinkFast Gun is just too expensive, this is a nice alternative. You will need to use a regulator for this, is 0 - 30 pound one seems to work as well as a 0 to 60, and I did find one for about $20.

Great little torch for small projects. I'm using mine to melt Ply-stixs driveway crack sealer into the cracks. Have a lot of repairs to make and this torch is just the ticket. I already had one of those 500,000 BTU torches but it was just too powerful and the flame too large for my needs on this project. Next I tried a heat gun like you'd use for removing paint, etc. That did the job but was just too slow for the amount of use I have. After looking at just about everything out there, I settled on this 60,000 BTU torch. It's well made and the flame is easily regulated by the included valve. Lights right up with a butane stick lighter. I did have to go to a welding supply store to get an adapter to hook up the torch to my existing propane tank hose. My only issue with the unit is the instructions on how to use it. They are not very clear as they appear to cover a variety of Goss torches. Haven't figured out how to set up the pilot flame so that I can go from pilot to full flame by pressing the lever. When I press the lever, the flame goes out. For now, I'm just relighting it as I need it. Thought I could call Goss but I can't find any customer support number. But for this issue, I'd give it 5 stars.

I have a large tiger torch but most of my projects now are on the smaller side. In fact, most of my projects can be done indoors and this small torch is perfect for melting precious metals. Works real well and throughs out all the BTUs I'll every need. Just hook it up to a 20 pound tank and we're good to go for hours of fun... :)
