I enjoy the ease of clean-up. I like the fit of the handles. I have arthritis in my hands so the light weight of the cook wear is perfect for me. The bottom of the pan supplies even heat. On most things I fry I don't use oil and everything comes out perfect. I love the glass lids for easy check-ins on items I am cooking. Over all I find all of the cookware well made and shows good craftsmanship.

We LOVE these pans so much! Nothing sticks to them! I'm so glad I purchased these! Worth the price for sure, and the color is unique. Not typical grey or black.

I bought these for my fiancee for Christmas. She raved for weeks afterward about how great they are, I didn't understand until I used them. Nothing sticks to them. Where normally I'd have charred bits on something I'm frying, these pans did it flawlessly. Don't even get me started how easy these are to clean. Gotham Steel has made me a fan for life. I wish I could give these pans ten stars.

I love these! They are my first set in many years and was a little skeptical at their light weight structure. But they are beautiful, easy to clean and cooks food perfectly! I love these little hole in the lids which release steam buildup. The only downer is the handles heat up so you need oven mitts to hold on to them.

Bought these about 2 years ago. Decent for about 4 uses before literally everything sticks to them. I bought this set to replace pans I had previously for 20 years. I would have been farther ahead to keep my old set. I only used low heat, hand washed (after allowing to completely cool), no metal utensils used in them, no harsh cleaners, and had them separated by those felt pads to keep them from scratching each other when not in use. Everything sticks to them. Any use of butter, margarine, cooking oil, olive oil etc. even when on low heat almost immediately turns the cooking surface black. Most times the pans have to soak overnight in order to get clean. Many a meal has been ruined using these pans. They are actually harder to clean than pans without a nonstick coating.I also made the mistake of separately buying the flat griddle pan which has the same issue as mentioned above with the added bonus of not sitting flat on the stove burner so heating is not even. Grilled cheese? 2 pieces of bread cooking right next to each other and they have completely different cook times and temps. One slice will burn and the other will look like it was just thrown in the pan. Want a good laugh? Try cooking some pancakes. That's a good time. Fun trying to flip them when they're so stuck to the pan you can't even get them out. Low heat and burnt food. How is that even possible?I also (unfortunately) purchased the special spaghetti pot with the special lid that locks on and allows you to drain the pasta. Great concept, but the pasta pot is so flimsy and thin that the weight of the water and one small box of noodles forces the handles outward just enough so that the lid won't lock in place when pouring out the pasta to drain it. I've had to stop using the lid and go back to dumping the noodles into a colander because this pot is a safety hazard. I actually lost an entire pot of cooked pasta once because the lid came right off when I dumped the boiling water out. Could have easily been scalded.Lids and handles? Shouldn't they be heat resistant / cool to the touch? Not these. Plan on using pot holders all the time unless you like burning yourself. The metal handles get as hot as the cooking surface. The handles on the pasta pot are made of a different material, but don't let that fool you - those aren't heat resistant either. All of the pans have minor chips in them and specks where the coating has come off. You can see areas where the coating is thicker in some spots. Best way to describe the appearance is that it is comparable to a bad spray paint job. After only a couple uses, the bottom surface of all of the pans are worn worse than my 20 year old set. The outside grey color has faded and looks similar to an old car with oxidized paint. If you're looking for a nice set of pans, keep on looking because these are not them! Save your money and get a real set of cookware.

I received a Gotham fry pan for Christmas and loved it so much, I asked for the whole set for my birthday! They are fantastic! The first time I used it to fry an egg along with some egg whites, No butter, No oil, NO STICKING whatsoever! The egg and whites slid right out with ease. I've also used them for quesadillas where cheese has melted out of the tortilla into the pan, but again NO STICKING! LOVE THAT! With my nonstick pan, I would still have to scrape melted cheese off of it even using butter or oil, but these just wipe clean. Even if something does stick a bit, a smidge of butter or oil will release it quickly, versus using 3 times as much fat as with stainless or non-stick pans. I dislike non-stick pans as the coating can be harmful and you MUST ALWAYS use some type of fat when heating them up (so as not to have chemicals released into the air). Not to mention, the coating inevitably starts to degrade (peeling, cracking, etc.) then you must toss them (even the expensive non-stick such as Calphalon). My non-stick pans went into the garbage after getting this set! (they were falling apart anyway)I've been trying to watch the amount of fat in my diet, so being able to cook without butter or oil is a plus for sure. Now to sweat veggies for making sauces (onions and garlic primarily) I do use a little fat to get the "party" started, as the veg will just burn if you don't use a little fat for them to swim around in and soften vs carmelizing. To those reviewers that gave bad reviews for the handles getting hot, well that's going to happen with any metal handle. I have an Emerilware fry pan and the handle gets hotter than these. I like the metal handles as I can pop the pan in the oven without worry of plastic melting. The instructions say they are dishwasher safe, but I'm not sure if I'll do that as the dishwasher has a way of ruining pans, but cleaning these is such a breeze, I just do it by hand. I'm not sure about the manufacturer's warranty as I have not had to use it or the other reviews that state their food has stuck to the pan, I have not had that issue. The one thing I did notice in the instructions is to NEVER use non-stick spray, so perhaps other reviewers that had a sticking problem, used non-stick spray? You do have to watch the temperature when cooking in these as they do heat up hotter than traditional stainless or non-stick cookware. I used the fry pan to make cornbread in my oven (instead of my cast iron) and it did a great job with no butter or oil! The crust stuck a little to the bottom, but wiped out with ease. The cornbread was done in about 15 minutes versus 25 as with my cast iron, so again you do have to watch the heat and the food, it's not a "set it and forget it" type cookware. I highly recommend these pans if you're tired of non-stick teflon coated kind. They feel well-made to me and hope they last, time will tell.
