I switched to glow-in-the-dark lures after seeing how much better they were working on my first 36 hour tuna trip. On the second trip, I was getting a lot of hits. I caught 13 tuna and had at least 6 getaways. My nephew used these same lures and caught 17 tuna and had 6 or 7 getaways too. The only problem I had with them was I lost all three of them that I brought with me. I think that was due to leader and knot problems. I am taking 9 with me next time just in case. I have beefed up my leaders, put more heavy duty rings on these, and I added a few coats of luminous paint to the glow strips. Now my glow is brighter and lasts 5 - 6 minutes whereas without the extra paint the glow lasts about 2 minutes.

I ordered these as decor for the nautical themed bathroom we're renovating, and they're perfect! These will be hung randomly from the ceiling (barbs removed, of course), which will be super fun (and unique)!As for the lures, they are all incredibly beautiful, with bright colors and flashy reflectives that would capture my attention (if I were a fish). I include a photo with my review to show details up close of one of the lures. Yes, I would recommend this set of lures, with a 5-Star rating for a quality product.
