Got a set of these and have been good so far.Have stayed up through winter so far, none of the adhesive pads have some loose. Just have to make sure you clean the area they are going on well.Minus 1 star for the app being a little cluttered and confusing at first, and also not being able to buy extra power supply or controller to use on leftover LED strands elsewhere. There are 3rd party options available if you are a bit techy/handy though.

I was really worried how tacky they'd look before buying them, but when I saw that the Pro versions had better and different temperatures of white I got 'em. These you can be as subtle or vibrant as you want which is perfect for what I needed. The app has a lot of very cool scenes as seen in the pictures attached.Most of the time that I have these lights on they're at the exact shade as my other exterior light but I love the option to do a little light show if I want to. I tried something a bit different because I have a non walking overhang that sits 17' below the roof above. So I took a row of the Govee's and pointed them upwards which I have not seen elsewhere (though I'm sure others have). The results ended up creating what I think is the best part of the entire set up (Pics 3 & 5). It takes sometime to install them, but it really wasn't too hard. I'm in SoCal so temperature didn't affect the 3M stickies.

I have mixed feelings about these lights. I’m giving it a bad review because at the price they are selling this product these issues shouldn’t exist.I bought them back in thanksgiving as they were on special. After installing them, within a week the M3 adhesive started failing in some surfaces, which tells me M3 is not sufficient for this product. I used my 3D printer to make a chasis so that I could use screws to mount these guys more “permanently”, after all these are permanent lights.Once the installation issues were fixed, the configuration was not super impressive. The app is cluttered with a bunch of options and they even have a section to buy more products, feels like we entered a market place, a cheap feature for a high end product. You cant even configure the product if you dont turn it on.Next comes the automation, I setup a task to run the lights from 7:00pm to 11:00pm, I’ve tried a few different methods and for some reason this doesnt seem to work, sometimes the lights turn on, but not off. Sometimes they dont turn ON at all, it feels like a random behavior, again I feel this should be a trivial thing to setup…One upside.. the lights are very nice and the light effects are great!Given the choice I wouldn't buy this again, and totally would discourage people from trying going thru the frustration.

The Govee Pro Outdoor Lights have completely transformed my outdoor space! One of the main reasons I chose the Pro version was their ability to produce warm and bright white lights, perfect for creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The brightness and color options are fantastic, allowing me to set the perfect mood for any occasion, whether it’s a relaxing evening or a festive gathering. The app control is intuitive, and the variety of preset scenes and customizable options make it so much fun to use. These lights are also weatherproof and durable, standing up to rain and wind without any issues so far.Installation was a breeze, and the quality of the materials is excellent. These lights are awesome. They aren’t that easy to install on stucco. They are brute and the app is decent. I like the ability to keep them up year round and the ability to change color/design for the specific holiday.

It seems like Govee is selling a lot of these as we are seeing them on a lot of houses. Despite needing to get on the ladder, they were easy to install. The kit included all the connectors and wires needed to skip the non-eve portions of the house. The lights work well and are very adjustable. Connects well to wifi and the app is easy to use. I run them at 3% brightness because our neighborhood is pretty dark and they provide nice ambience.

Lights came well packaged. I laid them all out in the house and tested and measured everything before mounting them. Quality seems good but I bought the extra warranty anyway. The kit had splicing ends and 3 good extensions that came in handy. Mounted them up at 10cm from the house (to the light body). This seems to be a good distance to get the effect on the wall.The kit could use more of the flat wire mounts. We ran short and bought some cable mounts from Home Depot.I really like the look and the effects. The app could use some fine tuning and the on/off timer is out to lunch.Hey Govee, I saw on Etsy some guys 3D printing mounting brackets for the "Pro" lights. You guys should be selling your own version. I would buy them.I really am impressed with the end result and I might buy some more....Update: 2 months of use. Some light colors are now dim. Working with Govee to fix. Communication is very difficult.Update: Feb 2025 - Govee sent me a new controller, no charge. The problem is fixed. Working good.I have asked them if I may purchase a spare controller......

Product looks great but had an issue with a section of the lights. I’m not savvy with electrical and needed someone to do some minor work to get them up and running, of course at a cost to me. I would have just returned them but wouldn’t have gotten the new set in time for the holidays

Do your research to find the best install method for your home. Take the time to clean the surface if using the sticky pads, purchase extra clips to support sticky pads, take your time to install properly. The time you put into planning the install will be worth it. We are using in Canada, cold temps during winter, so far no issues. Installed Lights in Aug while temperatures were warmer. They are easy to use, and if you want to take the time to learn to program cool effects, join a group chat and learn, it's endless the amount you can do with these lights. Very happy with our purchase.
