Good quality, just as good if not better than the one I was issued back in the corps. Brim is a little bigger than I remember but I use it to keep the sun off my face and neck when I golf so no biggie.

This does the trick keeping the sun off of Mt chrome dome. Yep, it's definitely government issue as well. The reason it doesn't have the MARPAT stuff on it like the older ones is that the whole service aside from the marine corps adopted what was once was marpat. Quality boonie though.

Fit is right on, very comfortable but brim is large and floppy. Good for sunny days with no wind. Brim flops around a lot in the wind

This is the real deal. Not some cheap Chinese knockoff.The sizing is perfectly accurate and it has the official government label on the inside band just like all of the Marine covers that you were issued back in the day.This will make a great Summertime cover for an old retired GYSGT such as myself.True government issue and worth every penny! A+++ satisfied!

I was USMC 1984-1992, and I loves me some boonie covers! I wanted modern versions to compliment my issued Desert Storm boonie (far left) I wore during that little dust up. These covers appear to be the real deal. I got the green MARPAT and the desert tan. Both are of excellent quality, and feature a brim which is wider than my old cover. The embroidered eagle, globe, and anchor is the cat's meow! These style of covers are the best thing out there for summer wear to keep from getting a sunburned neck, ears, nose, etc. I use them at race tracks, airshows, outdoor target/shooting ranges, and any other time I know I'm gonna be outside in blistering sunshine for extended periods. I bought another desert tan cover to send to my outdoorsy son out in Utah for hiking, camping, etc. Shipped quick and in perfect new condition. Lovely!
