I was already planning on spending 3k on rebuilding my trans in a 98 ram. Bought this part, installed it in a Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that my transmission doesn’t slip and it starts in first like it should. AutoZone wanted 100 bucks for a Chinese copy. Couldn’t be happier.

The description says sensor and it just another solenoid i don't need two solenoids. It poped up when i got the solenoid so i assumed it was a sensor like the description says. well i was wrong with that assumption..

This part number was not right for my application even though Amazon said it was right fit. Dodge used 2 different types of sensors so actually pull the part out and check numbers first. BAM worked with me to get me the right part. Save yourself the aggrivation of being down a vehicle and verify part numbers before ordering this part for Chrysler had more options than 1 for this application.

This solenoid along with the replacement of the pressure sensor totally corrected the way my transmission shifts . I had been considering adjusting the bands but found that no longer necessary after changing these two components .(plus they are very easy to change) . It's the best my transmission has shifted in 3 years ! Very well satisfied ! ! !
