I'd never heard of a packing cube.. I needed a luggage. I got a luggage, but there were two other luggages that "nested" into one.. 🤔 I'm some kind of OCD, so I can't just get one of the three matching luggages.. after I got multiple luggages, I researched luggage.. (I realize this is backwards) then I discovered "packing cubes".. after 10 million packing cubes, I decided on orange.. because, ocd, and luggages have orange accents. That narrowed it down to 2,347 to chose from. I chose these. You're welcome packing cube company guy.I got 2 sets, because, luggage(s)..And wouldn't you know the orange is not exactly like the luggage-orange.. 😆 OK, I expected that..Now that I'm a packing cubes expert (received mine today) I can confidently say that they don't save space.. but they are relatively good for ocd. 😬Full disclosure: I'm just a regular construction type dude. I don't know anything about luggage or packing cubes. But I did buy these, and they do compartmentalize my stuff. 👍

Cold water hand wash with a dribble of laundry detergent. Water turns yellow on initial wash as well as rinse water. Otherwise its a great addition to organize packing

Bought these for hubby to use on a month-long trip to New Zealand. Kept his clothing organized, and didn’t add significantly to our baggage weight. Good sizes, too, especially the biggest one—perfect for jeans and shorts.

I bought these to try them for a weekend trip. We were flying carry-on only and I thought it could be a great way to not have to worry about random articles of clothing finding their way out of the bag as we were traveling. Out of the package they didn't have any odd odors, always a plus. At a first look the zippers seemed sturdy and the seams well done. I wasn't planning on using these to try and compress my clothing, that's not really this product's intended purpose, and so far they've held up great. They made organizing my clothes a breeze. I was able to get items out of my bag at the airport without fear of showing the world any unmentionables or losing a random sock. Once at our destination it made unpacking super easy. I could set them out and pull only what I needed as I needed it. Repacking them was just as smooth. If you asked me if they saved me any room in my bag, my answer would be not really. But again, I was looking more for organization, and for that they 100% hit the mark. In fact, my husband stole a couple on our most recent trip, so it looks like we may be buying a second set.

For just a few bucks more than the other cheaper brands, these are excellent. The material is nice and sturdy (but light), good stitching, YKK zippers with nice pulls, and vibrant colors (which are good for visibility in a dark bag). They are a tad smaller than some cubes, but I actually like that. Most other cubes can be hard to fill, which makes them floppy; these keep everything nice and tight while still having enough room. For reference: I used one small for undies, the other small for socks; one medium for rolled-up tees, the other medium for rolled-up pants; the large for bulkier items that need folding (like collared shirts, sweatshirts, etc). Everything was snug, but not stuffed, and easy to Tetris into my bag. You could do a week of everything in these, which is the max a person should ever pack anyway. I’d definitely buy again, which I can’t say for any other cheap cubes.

I am a fan of the Ebag brand of packing cubes. I use them for our serious travel. I wanted something for every day use to have in the car or our back packs/beach bags to go back-and-forth to the beach and keep wet items separate and to keep the sand contained. We live in Southern California and going to the beach is a regular activity. I preferred not to spend the same money as I did on the eBags. Found these. So pleased. I would say that they are just slightly thinner than the material Ebag uses. And they are slightly smaller than the similar size of Ebag. Other than that they are quite comparable. And one thing this brand has over Ebag is the variety of colors. I love to give each person in the family their own color. I think it helps to keep things easily identifiable. And the bright orange was right up my alley for me. I don’t know how these will wear with time. My eBags are in mint condition after three years of rigorous use. But I suspect these will be just fine for the purposes of running back-and-forth to the beach. The photos show the set I purchased in orange comparing them to my purple Ebag set. I found every detail to be completely acceptable. The materials are good quality. The pulls and zippers feel good to the touch and work smoothly. The color is vibrant. The seams and the mesh feel sturdy. I would not consider these to be a “cheaper“ version of eBag. Rather, a less expensive option to eBags.
