Made of strong solid metal parts and works as it should to control the water flow. Very easy to install and comes with the plumber’s tape as well to prevent leaks. Turning it is a bit tricky because but I got used to it after a while.

It is a simple yet effective design. I like how the internal mechanisms close off the water when showering and slowly open as I rotate the collar to allow the water to flow again, no hammering of the pipes with this device. The price was fair and it is made of quality materials.

This review is for the G-Promise All-Metal Shower Head Shut-Off Valve. The product include the shut-off valve, a small roll of Teflon tape, extra gaskets, and a set of instructions. Installation took less than 15 minutes using only a pair of adjustable pliers (not included).Operation of the valve is easy and smooth, and the flow can be adjusted anywhere from 100% to 0%. I was initially concerned that this valve might cause a reduction in water flow/pressure even when it's in the fully open position, but fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. The best part of adding this valve to my shower is that I can now shut off the water completely--or reduce the flow--without losing the temperature that I've set.

This flow valve works great!I especially like the fact that there is not a tab sticking out for the flow adjustment. I had previously purchased another type, that had a metal tab for adjusting the water flow. This was for a handheld shower head. Well that tab jabbed into my hand while using the shower. No matter which way I tried to hold the shower wand, that tab was pressing into my hand or wrist. This valve resolved that issue. It is awesome!!No issues installing this flow valve. It was simple.I would highly recommend it.

If you have an RV I would consider this an essential item for your shower. Having the ability to easily and efficiently alter the flow of water during a shower is crucial when you are dry camping. Instead of just having a button to turn the flow on/off, or having to mess with the hot and cold faucet handles, this gadget allows you to get the water flow just right. Helps tremendously also with the small RV hot water tanks. No leaks, installs easily and is easy to adjust even with soapy hands.

solid build quality and works wonders if you are trying to save on water or just have a shut off on your showerhead. I installed this on my shower wand since I needed to cut water near the handle without having to reach high for showerhead. it is machined in a grip so you do need to struggle to twist the valve closed or open. The build quality is very high and they provide enough teflon tape to do the install 3 times over. This is a solid valve to have in the shower and can recommend this to anyone looking for a cut off valve. No leaks, easy to install, solid steel build and still holds tons of pressure when wide open. 5 stars.

10 Stars!! This is a solid metal, chrome plated, adjustable flow regulator. If you have a shower hose, shower wand, or shower head on the wall pipe, this will work for you. All shower lines are standard 1/2", you just screw this on without tools. It does come with a washer inside and also some plumbing tape if you need it.I have been using one in my shower for the past year or 2 and I LOVE having it there. My original was plastic and it was still working, but when I saw it in metal, I just had to upgrade it. It is simple to operate by just turning it. You can have the water set to full flow, a complete stop, or ANYWHERE in between. These are MUCH easier to use than the other set of .75, 1, 1.25, 1.5.....flow regulators that you have to drop in the lines. The old way is harder to change and it did not stop the water if you wanted to. If your shower wand does not have a shut off button, you can now twist this to stop the flow completely.So here is how it is used in my home. My teenage son like to take a morning 40min shower with the water on 100% HOT. This steams up the bathroom so you can't see and water is dripping from the mirror. This happens with the vent on too. So I put the flow regulator on between the shower hose and the shower wand. I put it there so it was easier for me to reach if I want to change it. Nobody has any clue what it is or even that it is there. It does not affect the way the wand sits in the shower mounting bracket. I was able to adjust the water flow MUCH lower for my son's showers.Being there is less water, there is less steam. Less steam and no dripping water on the mirrors. You may want this for that reason alone. You also could be concerned about the water bill and/or the gas/electric to heat the water. This helps with all of that. Parents, when you want to take a quick shower, adjust it for yourself. Kids don't have to know your tricks and there does not have to be any fighting about it any longer.
