I got this for my daughter who plays flute. It did not come with any instructions, so I tried to replicate the product photos. The section of the tablet holder that's supposed to slide behind the elastic bands is too wide to lay flat under all of the bands, but I was able to slide it all the way through a couple of bands that will sit in the fold. We found it to be slightly awkward to hold open as-designed simply because it makes the whole book stand perfectly perpendicular to whatever surface it is on. The tablet holder sticks out from the center of the binder quite a bit, so weight balancing can be a bit of an issue depending on how you're using it. I think it will be great to use the multiple bands to hold different folders with different music though. Overall, for the functionality and it basically just being a big binder, I think this is a very poor value, but it's possible this will suit your specific needs. For my teenager in school band, this will probably not see much use.
