Got this on Christmas for my 11yr old son as he is into gaming. He loved it.We have had other shapes on these kind of lights and the functionality is similar for most of them. Light is bright and can be changed with the remote. He uses the USB to power this and is sitting next to his desktop where he plays computer games. I like the touch on/off button.His friends like it too and were excited to see it. He frequently shows this to his friends on webcam & gets complements :)
