I used this successfully on several weeds. It didn’t help with deep-rooted grass or weeds with stems too thick for the holder. Otherwise, it’s a great little tool. The handle could be a little longer, but I still recommend it just as it is.

I LOATHE weeding. Bad knees, I get lightheaded bending over, it's hot outside, and I avoid it at all costs. BUT! This tool is a game changer. I love how effortless it is. I can get so much done in a shorter time. The roots don't always come up intact and smoothly, but it gets rid of the worst of the weed problems. I don't have to touch any stinging nettles or other prickly bits. Work smarter not harder!

Easy to use! I don’t have to get on my knees or hurt my back, or worry about getting back up. It’s great to be able to pull those weeds while standing! Quality is great! Very sturdy! Great buy!!!

I like these. They work exceptionally well weeding. The ground needs to be wet or moist. Dry hard soil the weed breaks off. If the ground or soil is wet, they work very well, like after a heavy rain, weeding the next day you can get a lot of the root of the weed. Using the long handle Grandpa’s Weeder I loosen the weed by rocking handle back and forth before pulling weed out. It leaves a perfect hole like aeration which is great for the lawn health.Weeding is a huge pain and these two garden tools are totally worth adding them to your arsenal of garden tools. 🙌🏻👍🏻

The full length puller saves your back - nice, very sturdy, easy to use. For use in wet clay soils, you need to remove the plug of soil/weed root by hand. But does get all or most of a long heavy root. In this pack, I also got the hand unit, which works like a weed fork - but better because the half circle form gives better leverage for getting the weed root out without bruising your knuckle in the soil. Both should last a lifetime.

I already left a review for Grandpa's Weeder and even mentioned Grandpa's Hand Weeder. Except I call the hand tool Grandma.Our property (purchased in summer of 2022) hadn't been weeded in probably 20 years. There were THOUSANDS of dandelions in the yard. I had been hand weeded when a neighbor suggested weeding sticks.Grandpa's Weeder is fantastic. Easy to use and works great. My yards are dandelion free. When one pops up, I whip our Grandpa and BOOM! Gone in seconds. And "Grandma" is great with more delicate roots.Very recommended.
