It's only 10'6" from the tip of each carabiner when stretched tight. The actual hammock is less than 10 feet. I was looking for something bigger than the 10' hammock I have been using. This one was smaller. The quality seemed good and I liked the feel of the material. This is also one of the few hammocks that don't come with it's own hanging straps.

お値段も控えめ、生地の触り心地もいい感じ!発色も良く、幅も狭くありません!とても良いハンモックだと思います!

Just received my hammock, leaving for camping in 2 days and the hammock didn’t come with the straps to hang!

We love Grand Trunk hammocks. Every member of the family now owns one, my daughter's was the most recent purchase. This particular hammock is a great color combo but we didn't understand that it doesn't come with a rope kit. Grand Trunk was super helpful in resolving the confusion. A great company with integrity.

I originally had the Nano 7 for about 6.5 years before a single sharp blade of tall grass literally sawed it in half (that was a very sad day). I was tempted to go back with the Nano, but - while the weight was awesome - I always said if it had just a little more fabric to wrap up like a small burrito, it would be perfect! I even looked at the larger Grand Trunk Single my husband had, but I was still weight and size conscious regarding my pack. Enter the Grand Trunk Tech Single! This is an awesome weight-to-size balance where it has more fabric than the Nano, but less than the Grand Trunk single my husband has, AND is still fairly lightweight. It can stuff into its storage sack and fit in my pocket, while my husband's is about the size of a large (really large!) grapefruit when stored. It is perfect for achieving the wrap around feel when laying in the hammock and that cool breeze visits for a quick minute. It is also much easier to create a make-shift head rest on the extra fabric that doesn't feel as if it's cutting off neck circulation. Since it is a little longer, between the hammock and my straps, I don't have any issues finding the right distance between trees, and when I sit in it like a chair, it's also not cutting circulation to my legs from the fabric digging into them. The fabric is much more comfortable than the Nano, and feels more sturdy. While I tried for proper setups, the Nano always felt so taut, where the same set up on the GT Tech Single is wicked comfortable and doesn't feel like I'm sitting in Saranwrap. I had a hard time deciding on colors, but I'm glad I went with what I did. The darker teal can somewhat blend into the background, and the brighter teal allows for a "you left me here" notification when coming back from a restroom break in the woods (give me a contour map and I'm good; my internal compass gets a little wacked out sometimes). I almost went with a brighter set of colors for visibility, but I also like to blend into my surroundings in the backcountry, rather than be a "loud" guest in nature. For but approximately 5 ounces (give or take), this is well worth the upgrade over the Nano 7. While I recognize a lighter pack makes for greater comfort on the trail, there is something to be said about having a luxury that enhances one's time on the trail during breaks or in camp. The Grand Trunk Tech Single, for me, is definitely that item!
