Socket is not quite perpendicular to crank arm but is close enough for weekly winding of my old clock. You might order several & return all but the least wobbly.

I have an antique grandfather clock circa 1920's and during a recent move the key got misplaced... I never thought we would find a replacement. Amazon to the rescue and this seller to the rescue. I can only say a great big THANK YOU! Fits and works perfectly.

the crank is too small. It fits the clock, but us too small for my hand, and uncomfortable to use.

I would give it zero stars if could. Has no depth in the inside so only barely fits over thewinding part in the clock. This makes the "crank" feature a moot point because you cannot get enoughleverage on it to crank well. Very disappointed and I rarely say that
