Bought this specifically to pour fryer oil into when filtering it. The size is perfect for my filter frame and it does the job exactly as desired.

the "used" product was indeed brand new condition and carefully packaged. missing star go's to the manufacturer. graniteware is graniteware. but you'd think in this day and age they would of heard of gummy adhesive. the vestiges of that severely glued on label will be around for the life of the pot. i needed to put tis on the stove as soon as i got it and didn't the 2 days soaking time to get the label off. it mostly (but not entirely) went away in a controlled burn.

Not super heavy and bulky which made it super easy to use on one of those movable stove tops that isn't very big! Also, I cleaned it by hand and threw it in the dishwasher. I couldn't find anywhere that said it was or wasn't dishwasher safe, but it held up fine in mine!

I ordered this pot for a chili pot. Used it for the first time for our Christmas dinner (chili). The enamel on the pot literally melded to my stovetop and when I pulled the pot off it took a chunk out of my stove top and put a huge Crack in it. Dinner is ruined. Our Christmas is ruined. There's nowhere this time of night to order a meal for tomorrow or even get more groceries and this is all we had. I've messaged the seller to see what they intend to do about the damage this product caused. I'll update my review accordingly. I can't believe this. So disheartening.

Great buy and was worth it, I love to cook and having this pot allow me to cook my soup without wondering if everything would fit. Love it, plus the pot is easy to clean and the size is perfect.

This was a great buy and for a great price. I do a lot of cooking and was having issues with food sticking to the bottom of my last pot or having enough room to brine/marinate my meat. After researching I settled on this one. Deep enough to handle a very large pot of gumbo, spaghetti sauce, brining or whatever….also no sticking whatsoever to the bottom when used for sautéing meats and veggies. Great buy

Product is great! Don't use it on your Glass top stove! Unless it's free from: sratches, cracks or dirt.

Great value. Heavy duty. Exactly as advertised. I did use this pot on my glass top stove and found it did not work as effectively as on a regular burnered stove top. This may be due to the fact the bottom of this pot is not perfectly flat, it has a raised ridge around the bottom outside diameter. This is probably why there was not effective heat transfer from the glass top to the pot bottom. However on a stove with burners, there was proper heat transfer due to better contact between the burner and the pot bottom. It's still a great quality pot, just be mindful if you intend to use it on a glass top stove.

Nice pot. More tall than wide. Not the same as my old "cauldron" which had worn out but pretty good for quantity cooking.

The pot works great and is the right size, but I didn't realize I couldn't use it on a glass top so I need to make stocks in the oven.
