I wear 16/18, so I ordered XL top and it is very snug in the belly area...otherwise fits well. I plan to keep it but also order a size up for comfort

I am very pleased with this lovely tankini in green. I wasn't sure what to expect given its unusual construction around the bust but it fits well and supports me. The adjustible straps and quality material enhance its comfort level both front and back. BTW, I'm in my late 60s and wear a size 14.

I've read the other reviews and was prepared to have a poor fit, but I tried this out this morning and really like it! First, I am about 115 lbs and have a small chest - ~34A. I always have a problem with gaping at the top with tankinis or even bikinis. I lean forward, and it gaps open. This one did not do that!The way the top is designed, it lays flag against the chest. When I do a full bend over with shoulders hunched (like you would to pick something up), only the very center gaps open slightly. Everything else stay secure and in place, which is such a relief. I got this top to wear to a Girl Scout event and I was really worried about gaps.I'll also add that the slimming effect works as well. I have a few 'slimming' bathing suits. Most do OK. This one works really well and I was surprised. Lastly, I really like adjustable straps. Not all bathing suits have adjustable straps, so this is a nice touch. The material is basic bathing suit material, but it doesn't feel too thin, which is good. It's a nice, solid black. It will probably be my go to top.The only thing I don't super love about it is how thick the straps are and the metal rings in the back that attach the straps to the body of the suit. However, both will make this suit very durable and long lasting. Sure, I may get a few weird sunburns, but I'm OK with that.I would recommend this top and may purchase another in a different design.

I gave this 3 stars rather than 2 because it might be more flattering on a larger busted woman. I am a B and the fabric that goes across the lower chest looks awful. It would be so much cuter without it, but it might provide more support for a larger bust. I just don't need it. It has good tummy control and I have a long torso and felt it was long enough. Didn't ride up. Wasn't a huge fan of the metal rings on the back. Those are just going to get hot I appreciate them being longer lasting than plastic though. The color is really pretty, very vibrant and would be flattering on many different skin tones. All in all the swim top is nice, just not as flattering as I had hoped. Definitely won't be my go to suit.

Although the material is decent quality, the fit is not desirable. Specifically the chest area, there is extra material that makes it ride upward, seems like a design flaw.
