I wasn't sure about using these salt and pepper shakers until I saw a similar product being used on a TV cooking show. The chef kept his beside his work area and they were turned on and the tops removed. He was able to use them with just one hand while cooking. This solves a cook's problem of hands with food on them (especially proteins) and then having to touch shakers. But if you keep one hand clean and one on the food, you can grab one of these shakers and use fresh ground salt or pepper with no problem. So I decided to try them.The idea of these is great. They are attractive when looked at on the counter but once you start using them it is clear that they are made of cheap plastic and are not going to look nice for long in a hard working kitchen. I can turn them on and take off the tops and have convenient seasonings but they don't hold a charge for much more than a day or two. The plastic chrome coated tops are easily scratched as are the clear containers that hold the seasonings. They grind nicely but there is inconsistency between the size of the pieces of either salt or pepper. So you get large and small pieces in the same grind. I like the ribbing in the white plastic part because it gives me a better grip. Overall they are OK but not great. They do have a good price at $25.

They were a little smaller than I was expecting but they hold a lot and they grind really well. I have mine set to the finest grind and it works perfectly every time. They match my decor and are exactly what I was looking for.

The grinder set is super adorable and goes with my kitchen setup. The only complaint I have is that after I use it some of it will spill out and by the end of a few days I'll just have a mess of salt on the counter where the grinders sit.

Ich habe das Salz- und Pfeffermühlenset erhalten und bin vom formschönem Aussehen bisher sehr angetan.Das Set besteht aus einer Salzmühle, einer Pfeffermühle und einem Aufbewahrungssockel und ist somit sehr gut für verschiedene Gewürzbedürfnisse geeignet. Die Holzteile und die ergonomische Form sorgen für einen guten Halt und das Design fügt sich nahtlos in meine Küche ein.Leider lag keine Gebrauchsanweisung bei, aber die Bedienung ist recht offensichtlich.Der Knopf oben kann abgeschraubt werden, um den Deckel zu entfernen und die Mühle zu befüllen.Mit dem gleichen Knopf wird auch der Mahlgrad eingestellt. Da das Gehäuse der Mühle aus Acrylglas besteht, kann man leicht erkennen, wann es angebracht ist, das Mahlwerk zu befüllen.Die Mühlen sind einfach zu bedienen und benötigen keine aufwendige Reinigung.Die glatte Oberfläche sorgt für eine angenehme Handlichkeit.Das Mahlwerk aus lebensmittelechter Keramik ist sicher, ungiftig, robust und langlebig.Es ermöglicht das feine Mahlen von Gewürzen wie Salz und Pfeffer, wobei die Frische und der Geschmack der Gewürze erhalten bleiben.Das Set ist aus Buchenholz von guter Qualität gefertigt und hat ein schönes, traditionelles Aussehen.Ich glaube, das Set wird sich lange halten und vergebe daher volle fünf Sterne für Qualität, Optik und Form. Questo bel set di macinasale e macinapepe è andato a sostituire, dopo anni ed anni di onorato servizio, un vecchio ed ormai malfunzionante macinino per il pepe ed una saliera in ceramica che definire “vintage” è solo un immeritato complimento!Dunque, per la prima volta è comparso sulla nostra tavola il sale grosso (in particolare quello rosa dell’Himalaya), accanto al nuovo macinapepe che una volta regolato correttamente, riesce a polverizzare il pepe in maniera più minuta ed omogenea del vecchio.Ho accennato alla regolazione: infatti entrambi i macinini consentono si impostare il grado di finezza desiderato ruotando le due “manopole” (bianca quella che contraddistingue il macinasale e nera l’altra) che sono decisamente più comode ed agevoli da impugnare rispetto al “pallino zigrinato” del vecchio macinapepe.Le stesse manopoline, se svitate completamente, consentono di asportare il blocco tondeggiante superiore in legno per avere un ampio accesso al “serbatoio” del sale o pepe.Il legno utilizzato appare di durezza adeguata e poco incline a segnarsi nell’uso quotidiano, ma se avessi potuto scegliere avrei preferito un color noce scuro, più intonato alla nostra cucina “arte povera”, nonostante questo si armonizzi già molto bene.Devo osservare che il prezzo attuale non lo definirei contenuto, ma la qualità si paga e, come penso sia ormai chiaro, qui la qualità non manca.

I love the look of these salt and pepper mills. The warm wood feels great to handle and looks great with the chrome and clear body. They even have a matching wood base to sit them on.They have a ceramic burr that is nicely centred with a steel bracket. You can get a very fine and consistent grind with these. I prefer it to be more course, which is easy to adjust by simply loosening the top nut. The ceramic burr should give years of use and much better than steel or plastic. I'm very happy with these and would definitely recommend.

Pareja de molinillos prácticos, porque son sencillos, cómodos y elegantes. Me ha gustado su aspecto, una bonita combinación de madera, metal y acrílico. Tienen un tamaño manejable de 16x5cm (LxA) y muelen sin esfuerzo. Se rellenan por la parte superior, desenroscando el tornillo de ajuste (que regula el tamaño del grano) y retirando la tapa.Como la molienda sale por la parte de abajo, se incluye una plataforma de madera a juego, para apoyar las bases y así evitar que ensucien. Las medidas de la bandeja recolectora son 13x6x1,2cm (LxAxH).Por último, hay una ventaja importante y es que tienen el cuerpo transparente. Podemos distinguir a primera vista el contenido, sin lugar a confusiones (no como los que son todo madera). En definitiva, es un producto satisfactorio, los dos molinillos están fabricados con toda calidad y tienen un eficaz funcionamiento...🧡🧡👍

I had ordered the same exact item from the brand FUSHUI and it came in great condition. I went with this brand for a present and it was about $5 cheaper but the same item so I was like sure. I get the item and there are scuffs all over it, something inside is rattling and it looks previously used.
