Impossible to assemble - and I enjoy assembling furniture and have done it often. I considered returning it but couldn't fathom how to get the MANY pieces back in the box. The screws did not fit into the prefilled holes and we had to drill them ourselves.Select pieces were damaged (scratched) upon opening the box as well.

This shoe storage is perfect for an area that is small. The shoe compartments fit every shoe size under a men’s 12. Looks great in my narrow hallway. The functionality of it is great for my large family. It opens and closes snuggly. It was easy and quick to assemble. It is metal and feels very sturdy.

I purchased the cabinet 3 weeks ago and still can't use it because it was missing 6 pieces of the door spindle.I emailed customer suuport and were told to send product info. I did that immediately after i received their email. I waited a week, emailed them again for an update.....no reply. Waited another week, emailed for an update.....again no reply. There was no phone number to contact. Just email.I also agree with some 1 star reviews. The pre drilled holes were too small and I have to drill the holes bigger in order to for the screws to fit.I would give it a 3 stars if I have gotten the missing parts to complete the cabinet. All I can say is, they need a better consumer service.

I am surprised at how much I like this cabinet. It is solid and easy to mount / dismount from the wall. It holds a TON of shoes if you insert them sole-to-sole, one toe in and one toe out, lying on their sides (instead of lying on their soles). The assembly did not bother me at all. The “metal bending” is very easy to do and the lines where to bend are clear. I note 3 drawbacks: (1) you need to look very closely at the illustrations when assembling to make sure you are setting things the right way. (2) the short inside panel of each drawer is a bit too short. I added a long strip of elastic from side to side to keep the tops of my shoes from flopping. (3) BEWARE - ONCE YOU INSERT THE DRAWERS INTO THE FRAMES, YOU CANNOT GET THEM BACK OUT!!! This is because they are held in place by little springy pop-out buttons. Once they pop into place, you cant get inside the metal bracket that they pop into to push them back out. I suppose you could yank them out if you had to but you would assumedly break the pop button. This wasnt a problem for me, but I could see where if you assembled something incorrectly and needed to go back to undo it, this could be a problem.

I was surprised when this cabinet showed up unassembled. There are very similar models that arrive assembled, so I must’ve ordered the wrong one—2 hour and multiple arguments with my partner mistake! There are more than 100 pieces in this kit including 64 quarter-inch screws alone.Most of the screws have to be inserted at off-angles so you’ll be lucky if they get anywhere near flush. Near the end of the multi-hour marathon, you have to manually bend the drawer backplates into place.To add insult to injury one of my 4 drawers arrived with a manufacturer’s defect where each corner is noticeably warped (see pictures). And of course I only noticed after assembling the damn thing. (After contacting the seller, they offered a partial refund for the damage but were unable to provide a replacement part).I bought this particular model for its 4 drawers and ample width. It does easily hold 3 pairs of size 11 men’s shoes with big soles side-by-side. That is admittedly hard to find.Once it’s assembled, it’s kind of nice. It has some nice touches like magnets to hold the door close, and the doors open with a light push. Aside from the warping, I like the way it looks. I do wish it came with more dividers. It only comes with 4 but you realistically need 2 per drawer to prevent all your shoes from falling over when you take one out.I was intending to return it after struggling for half an hour initially, but then I didn’t see another model with 4 drawers so tried again. You have to really want this 4 drawers model to not buy the similarly priced and styled fully-assembled versions sold elsewhere on Amazon and the internet.

It's a pain to put together. Instructions are BRUTAL but thank God there's a QR code that takes you to a tutorial video showing how to put it together.

I used to have a wooden shoe holder and my pets destroyed it. I got this one to ensure they couldn’t damage it. One issue I had was that the holes for screws were too small for the screws provided so I had to drill them to get bigger. Then it took a bit of time to assemble everything, it wasn’t complicated but it was tricky and I had to disassemble some parts. In the end I messed up the final steps when bending the metal and the shoe separator can’t be used for 3/4 shelves (in the end I got the last one right).Despite all the trouble, it’s a nice and sleek shoe holder.

I love this cabinet. I have very limited space and needed something to hold all the shoes. Searching for an ultra slim shoe cabinet provides very few options - I needed something wall mount at only 6" deep this cabinet fits perfectly behind my front door. It's shallow enough not to impede the door and is unobtrusive. It can probably be painted to match your wall color if needed. It holds plenty. I did buy some heaftier drywall anchors than the ones provided.Assembly wasn't hard, just follow the directions. I'm very satisfied with this.

The metal shoe cabinet came double boxed so it was well protected and arrived without any damage. The instructions were ok: not very detailed and the images are small. But the overall assembly process was straight forward. Assembly takes about 40-60 mins. I installed three of these in my garage for storage. Each can hold 12 pairs of men’s shoes with room to spare or 16 pairs of ladies shoes. The flip down action is simple and the magnetic catch keeps the drawers from opening. The cabinet feels sturdy once it is mounted onto the wall. The powder coated finish is consistent and smooth. Overall good value for this compact design.
