who would have thought you could purchase a box spring on Amazon?!? This took a little longer to ship than I expected, but communication was accurate and it was delivered when promised. I would liken it to an item from the big Swedish store. I would definitely find a socket and driver bit for my drill, otherwise you'd spend all day screwing it together, but it went together easy-peasy and looks great! I was able to put it together by myself and only got my husband's help to lift it into place on the bed frame. It's made from soft pine wood, so I would not stand on it while assembling, but it has no problem supporting my weight with the mattress on it, I have no concerns about it's durability or ability to stand up to recreational activities. ( maybe not adults jumping on the bed standing up, but laying down should be fine... if you get my drift. Not much is available for a Full XL foundation, and this was a prefect fit. It only took me about an hour to assemble and all of the predrilled holes lined up great. For the price, I would definitely go this route for a foundation in the future! I also like that it would be easy to disassemble for moving or storage if need be.
